I am not in costume but I am wearing a pair of very cute Halloween tights I got at Walmart. My job isn't super conductive to wearing full costumes.

Not now, but perhaps in a couple hours. I'm helping with the Halloween party in my son's 1st grade class. I bought a costume for an adult party tomorrow night. It's not risque at all, but it might get in the way. It's a medieval dress with long bell sleeves.

I'm currently in full "Disgruntled Coworker" garb. It's very convincing and scary.

I'm just hoping to have some trick or treaters tonight. It's extremely blustery and wet, plus supposed to go down to freezing overnight.
Even in good weather, I live in a rural area with only a few kids nearby. Some years we only get 1 or 2 - sad.
My co-workers like it, though, they get the left over candy tomorrow.
I need to run up to the top floor today, one of the departments supposedly all dressed up. I saw a Raggedy Anne go by earlier.

I am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult! bwhaaa haaa haaa! I'm hoping for Trick or Treaters - it's cold, snow showery, blustery. I just carved a Pumpkin - and I feel bad putting the Lil' Guy outside in the cold/snow. At least the squirrels won't attack it immediately.

A co-worker told me it was going to snow tonight where she is, and I can't recall for the life of me where she lives. PA, maybe?
This might be the first Halloween in a while where I will be cold. In past years either it has been ridiculously hot, or I've worn heavier costumes - or both.

I'll put on cat ears tonight for handing out candy. I love Halloween where I live. We get a shit ton of kids (I bought 525 pieces of fun sized candy), so we hang out on the porch and drink all night. We're supposed to be getting a break from rain until about 9 pm (southeastern PA), perfect timing.

We're supposed to be getting a break from rain until about 9 pm (southeastern PA), perfect timing. I thought we were getting a similar break but the current forecast says otherwise. Looks like the worst storms will come through during the early evening hours, just in time for trick or treat. I'm not dressed up today. I'll put one of my Halloween shirts on for trick or treat and maybe my Mickey Halloween ears. In the past I've worn Halloween leggings and the ears to work. It's currently 75 so too hot for leggings. I saw a guy on my floor earlier that had pants and a tie with a jack o lattern pattern all over. In my building today, you are more likely to see Nationals gear than costumes.

Not now. Sunday we did our Zelda themed halloween party. Dh and ds dressed as Link. I did Zelda and dd dressed up as Fi. I don't know if I'll have time to get the zelda garb on tonight in time for ToT, and as much as I love the family theme I'd probably have to cover it up with a coat.

I accidentally dyed my hair... VERY red. So I maximized the mistake and organized a Poison Ivy costume for myself. Went to a costume party this weekend with the full makeup and whatnot. Not to toot my own horn, but I looked awesome.
Was planning to dress up again tonight to take the kids trick or treating, but it's snowing here and the majority of my costume is stocking-weight. I'm too old to be a martyr for costume looks, so I will wear a coat and boots instead.

I'm somewhat self conscious, since I'm the only one who dressed up, lol. Oh well.

Yeah, someone new at our office was like "So, do people dress up here for Halloween? Should I wear a costume?" And I replied "I literally cannot emphasize how much you SHOULD NOT wear a costume."

I didn't dress up, and I won't be home for trick-or-treaters later. my recent standby costume has been a Rockford Peach. theres a few FB pics of me in that outfit over the past few years.
I jumped in over here bc this is great, whatever your politics.
sorry, you'll have to copy/paste bc I haven't figured it out on mobile browser. maybe another mod can edit for me?
edit: nevermind, it looks like it edited itself. woo hoo!

I put on my Sansa Stark costume for the school party. Funny how it seems like all the other parents have one when you don't, but if you do, most of the others don't. Anyway, really easy on/off over my clothes.
We ran out of time for my game for the kids! My son was very disappointed. I'm a bit miffed because I wasted $10 on little prizes.

It's a bit too brown this time, but I'm going with it.

Last couple of years I've just been usuing DS's rejected Halloween costumes. Last year was Cat in the Hat, this year it'll be a witch/wizard. I don't get too crazy, black clothes, a hat, maybe some make-up depending on how much effort I want to put in.

Speaking of kids... My tutor girl was a tad grumpy and defiant today. I figured rain. Then she said grandparents gave them their Halloween stash last night and started listing what she’d had so far...
