I thought I was being generous. I was giving myself a worse outcome than I was giving to her. why would anyone want you gloating on here if Trump wins? It would not be gloating. It would simply be a slight reminder that everyone here outside of three posters got it wrong from the very beginning of January 2017. I would not even be able to say you got it wrong, because you did say it was possible he could, maybe, somehow, someway, actually win......

I remain convinced that what we are looking at is not the beginning of a Civil War, but the end of a political party. Yep, the GOP doesn't have much longer. They will be lucky to survive the 2020 elections! Remember 1964 and Goldwater? Pundits and democrats said they were dead then. Tell me who won in 1968?

It just wasn't here...Seems the whole country didn't think he would win including himself... By the way..I don't give u great marks of intuitively figuring out that he would win because of ..yadda, yadda... I believe...and don't bother to say differently..I won't believe u..that you picked Trump just because...also your support of him here before the election...just because u are here to ....and had a "why not" attitude....if he lost, which I believe u believed he would...no biggie...a little dissing of u and then forgotten and u able to go back to ..................

Someone on this board predicted a massive red wave in 2018. Right before half the Dems in DC got arrested and shot at dawn as traitors
It's why I almost never guess on election results. I'm almost always wrong.

Core values.......agreed. Same can be said for the democrats. They have left the working middle class union people who in reality should love the socialist platform they now espouse, and yet the union workers realize they are being screwed by this promise.

The big money interests behind the Repo-cons have been destroying the unions for 40 years. A much smaller percentage of American workers now are members.
The Demos and their social democracy, more similar to Scandinavia or Switzerland than the Repo-Cons fear mongering about Venezuela, is all that stands between them and plutocracy.

O.C is going to be doing the Peanuts Snoopy Dog dance.
Roaring like a Bull Elephant in heat. Celebrating Trump's victory!!!
right. so why would anyone want to lose TWICE?
much better to wage against banning you and VB.
Is there some reason that we have multiple posts daily about stupid things that Trump did this or did that,
which of course are meant to do a Snoopy dance around the Trump supporter. Yet if I post a Wooooo Hooooo in support of Trump, after a critical post about Trump, Mine is trolling and the others posts are opinions!
I get a time out others get cheered on.

He was on a real tear this weekend. I think I heard 70 + tweets in one night?
The tweets increase when he's pissed off. I think the threat of impeachment is getting to him.
What's either good or bad (can't decide) is that he seems completely distracted with it, can't focus on much else in government right now.

Suggestion only...Possible do away with the Wooooo Hooooo,,,Just saying/suggesting... Hmmmm, A congress person calls the President a Mother f***er is OK, but Wooooo Hooooo is not? There is a constant complaint about Trump not acting "Presidential" apparently that does not apply to U.S. Congress persons, acting as ,, say Congressional, of the largely accepted political party represented here!

If my Congress person engages in inappropriate behavior I will call her out on it, just as I do with my President.

I believe Trump just referred to himself as a ************ at the fighting event he attended over the weekend. What should you do with that OC?

this board is divided close to 50/50. we have gone over this at least a dozen times. the fact that the liberals and moderates are more vocal is only due to the fact that they are more disgusted.

I posted on the politics board about once per year before Trump. That includes the W years. I wasn't offended by W. I didnt always agree, but I thought he was authentic and not as stupid as the left was portraying him. He made some big mistakes in foreign policy, but I wasn't embarrassed, nor horrified by most of what he did. I wish I could say the same about our current president.

Well, and because Trumps makes so many gaffes it's like shooting fish in a barrel to find something to complain about, with him.

Did someone post a thread with this story or something? Because I don't know which Dem congressperson called the president a MF. If you've got something, link it.
But just to be clear, I don't approve of any congressperson calling the president a MF in public, on the record. Does that make you happy?

there are far more glaring problems with this president. and they happen almost daily.

The moderates are the one's that don't post here. radicals have a hard time recognizing moderates. I consider bills a moderate, for example. there are others, but I doubt we will agree on it.
I did a survey a couple of years ago, asking people to identify posters, major political figures, and presidents by the identifiers "moderate", "conservative" and "liberal". that survey had some very interesting results. the folks that self identified as conservative identified other conservatives as MODERATES. so, for example, you would probably identify VB as a moderate, even though he probably self-identifies as conservative, or would "survey" that way, if offered a list of positions for comment. the liberals, likewise, identify other liberals as moderates. ONLY the moderates identified liberals and conservatives correctly.
what this demonstrates is that the further you are from a person idealogically, the less likely you are to identify them correctly.
think about that for a minute.

... I consider bills a moderate, for example. ... l am personally a very conservative person who supports many positions which are espoused mainly by those on the left in American politics. Not sure that makes me a moderate. Perhaps more a pragmatist.
