My dog buddy's younger human sibling (age 14) had to get stitches in his forehead yesterday, so of course I asked his mom how he managed to do that.
"He was petting the cat. Then he fell downstairs."

"He was petting the cat. Then he fell downstairs." Love the teen years ........by that time you love them so much abortion is out of the question ............... I remember my teen years, mostly jr hi, and those years were not fun. Glad when I matured a bit. PS: I'm 78 now and I still remember ...... definitely not fun for me

The human sibling lied about he fell down the stairs. He's afraid if he snitched on the cat for pushing him down the stairs, the next time, the cat's actions will be worse for him. Cats just love knocking and pushing things off from just about everything.
The cat was just reminding the human 'Snitches get stitches.'

This was my suspicion as well, but this teenager loves his cat friends (they have 4), so he would probably not believe it was the cat that pushed him, even as he was tumbling down the stairs. (He has a tee-shirt that says "I would push you in front of zombies to save my cat." And he probably would.)

If the kid was standing on a ledge, obviously the cat pushed him over. 😂

Well, we never had a cat and my then teenager could friggin fall off his socks crossing a hardwood floor!! At least you pEEps have something/cat to blame for mishaps. But we did have a 5 pound Chihuahua that ate a wheelbarrow, hoe, rakes, and a variety of other missing items over the years. Never ate the homework though - kid just said I didn't do it - drove me to drink on occasion

We have two three-legged cats and a geriatric cat who is going blind. I am constantly knocking myself over avoiding one of them.

My friend used to have one of those huge, 20 pound cats. I'm thinking the cat gave him a push, or jumped on him when he wasn't expecting it...

Poor teenagers - their legs grow faster than their bodies or their co-ordination.

He could knock me down, no problem. He used to do it all the time when he was "playing ninja". 'Banzai!!" and he would launch himself right into the middle of my back. It was like getting hit with a 20 pound sack of flour when you're not expecting it.
