Trump is America and America is Trump. All the rest are enemies- foreign and domestic- which must be defeated politically so that they don't eventually have to be defeated by other means. Spew like this doesn't even warrant a rational response. It's too far gone to even bother. How's the descent into hateful paranoia working for you? From the positive responses of your fellow posters it seems u have set a new record...Personally the post.. "Trump is America and America is Trump. All the rest are enemies- foreign and domestic- which must be defeated politically so that they don't eventually have to be defeated by other means." is as vile a post as any I have ever seen here...even those early ones back in the day from long gone posters ...either voluntarily absent or sent on the way by management...Suggest it be deleted or what ever...but good post Bob...

This is what is scary to me. Hubs and I were up working on the post office yesterday. We see over 20 ATV's the bigger ones going by, in the lead was one with an American flag and a 2020 trump flag. The scruftiest bunch of guys I've seen, but big dollars in those machines. I actually felt fear. I knew there were a bunch of them around, not sure the purpose. They went to our lovely town park that a lot of us socialist types have worked hard on to improve and I would not drive through it like I often do. It's a beautiful scene there, looking down over the river and into Illinois for miles upon miles. I hope they didn't destroy anything up there. This is the kind of thing trump is breeding. The low income and poorly educated are following him. Here it seems the poorer they are the bigger ATV's they have. I want nothing to do with it. I feel moreso the need to go to the gun range, work on my shooting abilities and to buy more ammo to protect me from people like these. I fear for our democracy and safety if he somehow gets in 4 more years. And yes there are liberal prepper groups and I do belong to one. I wondered if any were veterans if they are how can they follow him? I know many do not. One lady here has kissed his a** because of anti abortion, her husband is retired military. I have noticed since this Kurd deal she has said nothing in favor of him. I imagine her hubs stopped that and should have. So, you saw a bunch of guys riding ATV's and one of them had an American flag and a Trump 2020 flag on it. Serious question- what possible- and this word is important- rational - reason would you have anything to fear from some guys riding around on ATVs with an American flag and a Trump flag on them? It is not as if they were dressed in all black, wearing masks over their faces, blocking the road while you were trying to go to the US Post Office- yelling, screaming, spitting, or hurling urine, feces, rocks, or explosives at you-- right? I would hope they didn't do any damage to the park, either-- but if they did, I imagine authorities wouldn't have a hard time finding them-- and they should. But again- it's not like the dangerous, violent leftist thugs you can rest assured would be going there to purposefully cause damage. If the worst thing a President does is inspire someone to put an American flag and their campaign flag on an ATV and ride it with their friends to a park-- I'm going to call that #winning. Also, I'm confused- are they "low income" or are they riding "big dollar" machines? The poorer they are, the bigger ATV's they have? Perhaps you're confusing working class, or blue collar with poor? And again- very important: What rational reason would you have for feeling you needed a firearm and training to protect yourself from people riding their ATV's to a park? Being prepared is just good common sense no matter your politics, but I can state categorically that if you ever find yourself in a SHTF scenario- the last fucking people on earth you're gonna want to know where you are and what you have are a bunch of liberals-- if you need to get to the range to practice so you can protect yourself, it's going to be from the liberal mob; and the best fucking friends you're ever gonna meet are the guys on those ATV's. Countrygirl's description of the situation is rather sad, as she did not bother to even go by the park to check out if they were even riding the ATV'S in the park. To feel fear from people flying an American flag because they had a Trump sticker?? Either the city allows the ATV'S to ride there, or they do not allow it. And guess what even poor people or low life WMT shopper Tump voters do not want their parks torn up for no reason, but she is so blind she cannot admit this. Heck she even shops at WMT. How dare her!

I think personality has a bigger bearing on who is following him versus economic circumstance or educational level. One pundit suggested his followers may contain a lot of fellow narcissists which makes sense to me but I have no proof. The pro-birth people are for him because he's the only game in town. The one book I was reading has a lot of studies in it. Economic circumstances and education level actually have zero relation to whether or not you voted for Trump. Your Google history does though. People who want to go back to the "good old non-PC days" are the ones more likely to vote for Trump. That's why his "build a wall!" motto is so effective.

My parents are Trump supporters despite being intelligent, well-educated, decent people who never would've fallen for Trump's hate-spew during their younger years, nor did they teach me any of the vile ideals he champions when I was growing up, nor did they even like him when he was a household name in the 80's.
The reasons they support him come straight from the textbook: my dad, despite being a successful businessman, had a falling-out at the end of his career, retired too early and proceeded to make a series of mistakes that lost him his fortune. During this time, he pretty much gave up (we think he suffers from serious depression but refuses to get help) and never went back to work, so my mom had to in order to make ends meet, but this still wasn't enough. A bankruptcy followed, then my dad had a stroke. He's still mentally mostly there but not quite the same. Now they live on SS plus a moderate pension that the bankruptcy couldn't take and my mom's small 401k. The fears and worries that they face in their later years plays right into someone like Trump's wheelhouse. That, and a steady diet of Fox News and propagandists like Rush, Bill O'Reilly, Glenn Beck, etc didn't help either. I've asked them to temper this with some more moderate news sources but they won't budge. It's been weird watching them go from moderate middle-of-the-roaders to alt-right Trumpists over the last decade or so. I once asked my mom about the cat grabbing comment, only to have her parrot back verbatim the "boys will be boys" excuse given by Trump's advocates (I told her I hope she doesn't tell that to her granddaughter). It's also strange to hear my dad explain away every Trump accusation as "fake news" while justifying his questionable, illogical actions as "the art of the deal". There are not the people I knew and it makes me sad.
We mostly don't discuss politics in order to keep the peace, so nothing has been mentioned since before the whistle-blower news broke. Not sure I even want to know what they think now.

My mom too and she was a bra burning feminist in the 70's. I really don't get it till she tells me what news station she watches.
Meanwhile my brother is a rabid Bernie supporter on top of being a conspiracy theorist.
You don't discuss politics with my family.

There are not the people I knew and it makes me sad. We mostly don't discuss politics in order to keep the peace, so nothing has been mentioned since before the whistle-blower news broke. Not sure I even want to know what they think now. I have an aunt & uncle who were basically hippies in the 70's, very laid back, pot smokers, the works. Uncle worked for the county for 30 years, retired with decent benefits & was very active. My aunt, while bat shit crazy runs in our bloodline, was still rational & basically a good person. About 10 years ago my uncle had a stroke & they found religion. They seemed to lose their "kindness" at that point & became more judgemental of everyone & everything. Then came the resident in the white house. They are no longer people we recognize. They are cruel, vicious, nasty, racist, bigoted, homophobic & just vile people. There is no longer the ability to have even a "how's the weather" conversation because politics & religion are the only things they focus on. Fox news is too liberal for them & they are OneAmerica viewers.
They have alienated family & friends because of cruel remarks. In our (extended) family we have gays, mixed marriages, & foreign born spouses. My aunt doesn't just talk behind their backs, she'll say horrible things to their faces. Called my cousin's mixed race daughter the n word. Only refers to my cousin's husband as the n word. Constantly makes comments about how gays will "roast in hell" directly to gay family members. Makes Hispanic racial slurs to others. It's so bad, their only child had a heart attack & triple bypass but they aren't allowed in the hospital. Not just "don't show up" but they are on a list of "don't let in". No longer see their grandchildren or great grandchildren. My aunt confronts people in stores & parking lots. It's just a matter of time before she becomes a "parking lot patty" or "barbeque becky" and goes viral. They have become the dictionary definition of deranged supporters.

California man in MAGA hat arrested for allegedly spraying bear repellent at anti-Trump crowd at Santa Monica protestOctober 21, 2019 A man wearing a red “Make America Great Again” hat was arrested Saturday after he allegedly sprayed bear repellent into a crowd of protesters. David Nicholas Dempsey, 32, was arrested after he scuffled with a group of anti-Trump demonstrators at the Santa Monica Pier, during which the supporters and protesters shouted at each other for about 10 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Times. "Everything went to crap,” Santa Monica Police Sgt. D. Hicks, who declined to give his full name, told the newspaper. Video posted online shows a man, believed to be Dempsey, pull out the bottle and disseminate the pepper spray-like substance at the group, including one at close range. “The f--king liberals over here,” Dempsey says in the video. “These commies.” A convicted felon, Dempsey isn’t legally allowed to have pepper spray, according to KTLA. Dempsey was charged with prohibited use of a tear gas weapon, assault with a caustic chemical and violating parole. He’s being held without bail and is due in court Tuesday, according to online jail records. California man in MAGA hat arrested for allegedly spraying bear repellent at anti-Trump crowd at Santa Monica protest Like 100% of all "MAGA hat" wearing assailants, this will eventually come out as one of two things- a complete hoax, or an act of self-defense. Lol! You keep telling yourself that....whatever helps you sleep at night.

Well shit fire, you found some goofball no one ever heard of saying some crazy shit. You do recall that a Bernie Sanders supporter spewing DNC media talking points attempted the worst mass-assassination attempt in American history, right? You haven't forgotten that Rep. Steve Scalise and five others were shot by James Hodgkinson, a supporter of Bernie Sanders who had volunteered with his campaign. The shooter’s Facebook page features posts such as “Trump is Guilty & Should Go to Prison for Treason,” along with a link from a website called “ImpeachDJTNow,” and a slew of other liberal media hysterics. You remember after the election, Hillary Clinton saying she was, an activist and "part of the resistance", right? running mate Tim Kaine called for Democrats to “fight in the streets against Trump.” Dafuq does that mean? Kaine's son thought he knew what his father meant. Linwood Kaine charged for his involvement in a riot during a pro-Trump event. Charges included “fleeing police on foot, concealing his identity in a public place, and obstructing legal process,” after a masked group he was with threw smoke bombs into a pro-Trump rally in Minneapolis, Minnesota in March. The New York Times sponsore a play that featured, at the very least, an allusion to the assassination of President Trump. “Shakespeare in the Park” production was billed as a contemporary update on the original, did not refer to the president by name — but their Caesar character bore a striking resemblance to Trump and even has a wife with a Slavic accent. During the play, the Caesar character was fully nude, and Tweeting while in the bathtub before being stabbed to death by female and minority senators as an American Flag hung beside them. BuzzFeed writers wish for Trump’s assassination in private office chats leaked to Big League Politics. In screenshots, BuzzFeed employee Tim “Treadstone” Gionet, better known as Baked Alaska, the website’s Director of Social Media Maycie Thornton wished for Trump’s assassination as co-workers laughed and cheered her on. “Maybe someone will assassinate him,” said Thornton, gaining big laughs from her coworkers. It was hardly the first time- recall that Buzzfeed held an office party when Justice Scalia died. Can any of us ever forget CNN host Kathy Griffin’s infamous ISIS-inspired photo holding Trump’s decapitated head? How about Former Obama Attorney General Loretta Lynch urging people to march, bleed, and die in the streets? “Comedian” and DNC Speaker Sarah Silverman called for a military coup against President Trump on Twitter: WAKE UP & JOIN THE RESISTANCE. ONCE THE MILITARY IS W US FASCISTS GET OVERTHROWN. MAD KING & HIS HANDLERS GO BYE BYE❤❤❤❤ Madonna said, “Yes, I’m angry. Yes, I am outraged. Yes, I have thought an awful lot about blowing up the White House,” noop Dogg references assassinating President Trump in music video. In the BADBADNOTGOOD video for the remix of “Lavender,” released in March, the hip-hop star focuses on police brutality in a world full of clowns. In the controversial scene, the 45-year-old rapper is seen holding a toy gun to the head of a clown dressed as President Trump. A “bang” flash pops up after the rapper pulls the trigger. When President Trump responded quite appropriately: Another rapper, and actor Little Bow Wow, also known as Shad Moss, jumped into the mix Tweeting “Ayo DonaldTrump shut your punk ass up talking sh-t about my uncle Snoop Dogg before we pimp your wife and make her work for us,” Anti-Trump protester calls for violence against Trump supporters on CNN. During a protest in Los Angeles in the days after the election, an unhinged anti-Trump demonstrator asserted that “people have to die,” over the election results. “If we don’t fight, then who will fight for us? People had to die for your freedom where we’re at today. We can’t just do rallies, we have to fight back. There will be casualties on both sides. There will be because people have to die to make a change in this world. Trump, enough with your racism. Stop splitting families. Don’t split my family.” The reporter on the scene continued to paint the violent woman as a victim, asking her about her concerns over the Trump administration splitting up her family. I could go on like this almost literally forever. These are not obscure Democrats. These are elected officials, lifelong bureaucrats and public officials, well-known artists, musicians, television personalities and journalists. People with real influence. We're not the ones planning for a civil war- that's the left. Some of us-- probably not enough of us- are certainly preparing for what the Democrats might do to this country and us if they ever got the chance. The fact of the matter is that conservatives, and especially Trump supporters, live with the very real threat of death, violence, and/or destruction of our property every single day. We are under siege. We can't post on social media without being suspended or shut down. Conservative speakers and authors have been deplatformed- losing their livelihoods and businesses. Conservative and or pro-Trump speakers and those who wish to see them also have to endure violent riots and threats to their safety simply to gather in cities from Boston to Berkeley. Given the extremism being promoted by mainstream Democrats, it would be a miracle if we do not see more terrorism continue to rise from the left.

My parents are Trump supporters despite being intelligent, well-educated, decent people who never would've fallen for Trump's hate-spew during their younger years, nor did they teach me any of the vile ideals he champions when I was growing up, nor did they even like him when he was a household name in the 80's. The reason they support him come straight from the textbook: my dad, despite being a successful businessman, had a falling-out at the end of his career, retired too early and proceeded to make a series of mistakes that lost him his fortune.
That sucks. I can handle being on different sides of politics, but to have someone turn so nasty - that is tragic.

Trump is teaching you well. Next thing you know you’ll be calling for the eradication of the Demos “by any means necessary “ and predicting civil war...which you don’t see from the left. Maybe you can join Oaf Creepers.

Former top American military folks {that means highest ranked Generals and Admirals} give nation a warning …. I suggest we at least listen to them...they usually don't have political axe's to grind and have the nations well being and safety as their top agenda...way they think for most of their working lives... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- The following comment is from a retired Colonial plus very brave decorated man...Awarded the Medal of Honor...The Colonial is also the holder of three Bronze Stars and two Silver Stars...Seems only missing Navy Cross and "Generals in Mattis’ position, even those who are retired, do not criticize the sitting president. Until this administration, Mattis’ joke would have been unthinkable. And yet, Mattis is merely the latest in a line of commanding officers who have recently rebuked the president’s decisions. This collective decision to go against such entrenched military traditions should give their warnings even more weight. When the generals are speaking out, something is really wrong." "We are now in the unenviable and dangerous position of having convinced both friends and adversaries that we are withdrawing from the world stage. Mattis, for one, would gladly suffer a lifetime of adolescent, ad hominem criticism if the result were the safety, security and prosperity of his country." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- www.nbcnews.com/think/opinion/trump-s-former-generals-james-mattis-joseph-votel-sound-unprecedented-ncna1069771

Man charged in bear-repellent attack on Trump protesters at Santa Monica PierA man accused of spraying bear repellent on a group of Trump protesters on the Santa Monica Pier over the weekend has been charged in connection with the attack, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney's office. David Dempsey, 32, was arrested Saturday shortly after a scuffle broke out between anti- and pro-Trump protesters on the pier at about 1:20 p.m. According to the Santa Monica Police Department, Dempsey sprayed a can of bear repellent into a crowd, affecting several protesters and bystanders. Prosecutors on Tuesday filed one felony count of use of tear gas and one misdemeanor count of unlawful tear gas activity. Dempsey is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail. The protesters were met on the pier by a group of Trump supporters and the two groups exchanged chants and taunts for about 10 minutes, according to the Santa Monica Police Department. Trump supporters appeared to begin pushing and scuffling with some of the protesters. A video of the expletive-filled skirmish posted to YouTube shows a man wearing a red "Make America Great Again" hat circling the crowd, holding aloft a canister and unleashing a torrent of spray from it. I wonder if she was beating her husband. They just said family member - but women being physically abusive to their partners is a large, but unspoken, problem. It is terrible, and this woman seems like a real scumbag.

Oh yes, more thinly veiled threats of violence considered necessary to purge political opponents. Is this another “by any means necessary” moment fueled by your paranoia? That’s a fascist approach isn’t it? Thus Un-American and anti-democratic. Looks like you have morphed into an enemy of We The People. ALL violence and threats of violence come from Democrats. I haven't changed my mind concerning the natural right of human beings to defend themselves. I'm reasonably certain this guy is not a democrat. MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee police have made an arrest after a man was attacked and burned with acid in what officials say is a hate crime. Mahud Villalaz suffered second-degree burns to his face after he was confronted by a man he says accused him of being in the country illegally. Villalaz, a U.S. citizen and Latino, says the man approached him in front of a restaurant Friday night, told him he didn't belong in the country and threw acid from a container on him. www.msn.com/en-ca/news/world/milwaukee-police-make-arrest-in-suspected-hate-crime-after-man-attacked-with-acid/ar-AAJOSBE?li=AAggFp5
