Huh? I don't have a problem with trump being rich. I have a problem with him being an amoral troglodyte. Well, it seems the democrats insist on all potential candidates to release the tax returns. I would expect they will demand five years minimum......will he do it? Will the democrats accept his returns without trashing them for any dirt? Can the democrats as a whole accept a nominee that is richer than they could ever imagine? Obviously he is evil. Do YOU think the dem candidates should release their returns?

OK, but I am asking VB, since he doesn't have an issue with trump refusing to release his. VB seems to think I only want rich people to release their tax returns, or only republicans. I just want to put it out there that I'm an equal opportunity nosey nelly.

If someone is rich via legal and ethical business, I don't think it is a problem. Many think they should be taxed more to restore balance- but the fact that rich people haven't been paying taxes in excess of the law isn't going to be a scandal for any candidate. I don't think you are understanding the message nor the purpose of releasing tax returns.

Is Bloomberg releasing his tax returns soon? Here is an actual known billionaire who is really rich by everyone's standards. I have to imagine his tax returns run in the thousands of pages in length. His returns will be a hard pill for democrats to accept and not blow a gasket over his riches being out and center in front of everyone. Will he be villified by the democrats or accepted for his riches? Does Bloomberg have a long and sordid history of stiffing his contractors, workers and suppliers? Is Bloomberg sleazy enough to steal from charities for his own personal gain? Does Bloomberg have past which included showing up at fundraisers for childhood AIDS, making a big deal of being seen and contributing nothing? Is Bloomberg cheap enough to take $7 out of a charity to pay his son's Boy Scouts fee? Does he have a string of fraudulent businesses which were only too eager to take your money but gave nothing in return? No. Then I'm sure he'd only be too happy to release his taxes, and I think he should. Trump doesn't want to, because the above is only the tip of the iceberg and there's a lot of sleazy and illegal shit in there. That's why he's fighting so hard to hide everything, and suing.

Why would any Demos “blow a gasket” over Bloomberg’s tax returns?

Funny-you didn't mention any of the other Democrats running for president and their tax returns yet. Memory serves me most already have released their latest tax statements..... it seems to be a demand all candidates, democrat or republican must do it. Or else. California tried to keep Trump off the primary ballot and failed.

I guess everyone demanding Trump release his returns including the democratic leadership in California are actual republicans hiding in disguise. Why not venture to the "I really want to see Trump's tax return" thread.....

If I am not allowed to generalize "democrats" in a general term describing what most people want, then no one here should ever be allowed to make general comments about republicans or republican posters here.

And don't give me that audit shit. The IRS said trump could relesse them. Where are they?

Why would any Demos “blow a gasket” over Bloomberg’s tax returns? Because Sanders, Warren, AOC, and other Democratic leaders have demonized Billionaires. How in good faith can they allow a billionaire to hijack their party? At the very least they have to demand he release his tax returns. (for all I know maybe as a state Governor he already has, IDNK) For the record. I could care less if he does. I also do not believe anyone should be forced to release tax returns in order to run for public office. If that is a deal killer for a voter, they vote no for the candidate.

They've criticized income inequality and billionaries' not paying their fare share of taxes.

How in good faith did the evangelicals let such a gross creep hijack them? The conservative judges is their payout. I'd be better with that if they said "He is absolutely not the guy I would choose, but I am getting what I think is important for the country." Instead of "He is flawless. He is holy. God chose him. He is a good man." 🤮

I wonder how much their 542,000 employees paid in income tax, versus collecting unemployment ? In an adding up the cost kind of way. Amazon's effective tax rate in 2014 was a little over 91 % CBS didn't have anything to say on that little tidbit back then. Didn't fit the class warfare narrative.

Wow that's kind of like a complete reversal from what I was being told when he first got in. As in "How can you vote for someone for what you expect him to do, when he acts like that" Yeah, it's kind of like me to remember those things.

Also, VB, please stop telling me and all other democrats how we think. You are way off base with your assumptions and it's really annoying. When you refer to Trumps offspring as devil spawn, you really kind of give away how you're thinking. (humor)
