President Trump tweeted "...talking about “Lt. Col.” Vindman ..." linkHere is what the man has done to earn his rank in the United States Army: ... Vindman is a combat veteran of the Iraq War, and he served in Iraq from September 2004 to September 2005.[2] In October 2004,[2] he sustained an injury from a roadside bomb in Iraq, for which he received a Purple Heart.[3]He was promoted to the rank of major in 2008,[9] and to lieutenant colonel in September 2015.[10]
During his Army career, Vindman earned the Ranger Tab, Combat Infantryman Badge, Expert Infantryman Badge, and Parachutist Badge, as well as four Army Commendation Medals and two Defense Meritorious Service Medals.[2] link
I want a President who does not put such a man's rank in quotation marks.

When trump said this about Senator John McCain: “He’s not a war hero. He’s a war hero because he was captured? I like people who weren’t captured.”, I thought he couldn't sink much lower.
But trump surprises most everyone with his continued descent into his abyss of hate and self-pity.

Trump says military may consider discipline for ousted aide VindmanU.S. President Donald Trump said on Tuesday the military may consider disciplining former White House National Security Council aide Alexander Vindman, who testified in Trump's impeachment trial. Vindman, an Army lieutenant colonel who provided some of the most damaging testimony during an investigation by the U.S. House of Representatives of Trump's dealings with Ukraine, was ousted from his White House job last week. "We sent him on his way to a much different location and the military can handle him any way they want," Trump said. Asked if he was suggesting that Vindman face disciplinary action, Trump said that would be up to the military. Actually when I googled the two brothers, many articles popped up, all with similar feelings on the topic..I just picked this one because it covered so many bases, not bothering to investigate the author... As I said, the internet is over loaded with such articles..oc is just the pot as all Trolls do to get a reaction..no real desire to have a real discussion of facts, again a trait of a Troll...

Speaking at Joint Base Andrews, Trump ... saying, "... I'm actually, I guess, the chief law enforcement officer of the country." link I want a President who isn't "guessing" (inaccurately) about the duties of his job.

And the band plays on. (From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. And the band played on is an expression used to describe the deliberate masking or downplaying of an impending calamity by authorities.)
"The Pentagon's top policy official who warned against withholding military aid to Ukraine last year resigned on Wednesday at the request of President Donald Trump, according to a copy of his resignation letter obtained by CNN.
John Rood, Under Secretary of Defense for Policy at the Pentagon, is the latest senior national security official involved in the Ukraine controversy to be forced out following Trump's acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial, but sources told CNN that he broke with the administration on several issues, in addition to the handling of aid to Ukraine, …"

and another highly trained experienced professional government employee forced to resign by order of the Donald. His crime? Just doing his job.... The man has 20 years in so will be eligible for his pension but maybe he wasn't ready to resign...Was willing to give the country his experience and skills for another 10, 15 years... I am sure he will get employment, possible for many times what he was earning as a gov't worker...but that is not the point. It seems daily we have a President who thinks he is a emperor, in the position he holds by the "Devine Rights of Kings"...like say the old Tsars, Louis the 14th, King Henry the 8th.... Someone really needs to inform the Donald he is none of those things and these decisions of his are making him look like a fool

trump crouches behind CPAC podium to mock Bloomberg’s height:How low can he go? President Donald Trump crouched behind a podium to mock Michael Bloomberg’s stature on Saturday — drawing roaring laughter from the crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland. Trump was recounting the 5’7″ Democratic presidential candidate’s evisceration at his first debate in Las Vegas last week — specifically noting Elizabeth Warren’s sharp opening barbs directed at him. “She was really mean to Mini Mike,” Trump said. “The way she treated him, he didn’t know what hit him. “He’s going, ‘Oh, get me off of this stage,” Trump went on, at that point dropping down so only the top of his rust-colored coiffure could be seen poking atop the podium. “Get me off! Get me off of this stage!” he mimicked. trump crouches behind CPAC podium to mock Bloomberg’s height

I think he is a sick, delusional man, so full of his self importance, and having no empathy for anyone or anything. Why are such evil people allowed to have a good life. That's why I am an agnostic, what god would allow such creatures to exist?

I want a President when offered the opportunity to comfort scared Americans is able to do it: FSS/FDD. Meanwhile, a One America News Network correspondent threw trump a hard-ball question: “Do you consider the use of the term ‘Chinese food’ racist? Because it’s food that originates in China and has roots in China?” Chanel Rion asked. Correspondent Dragged For Asking Trump If The Term 'Chinese Food' Is Racist

I want a President when offered the opportunity to comfort scared Americans is able to do it: I just watched part of that press conference and was completely astounded at that behavior. It is no secret at all that I have never had any respect for trump, but his behavior seems to be at an all time low. He has zero control over himself. He has to be constantly corrected by someone on his team after he speaks. Everything that comes out of his mouth is delusional, angry or both. How can this possibly be the person leading the country? It's painful to think about.

I want a President when offered the opportunity to comfort scared Americans is able to do it: well, the honest answer would be "I have no human empathy, so I am the wrong person to ask".
but his actual answer is his way of saying that: blame the media for my personal failings.

I am not impressed with it as a question. It was a "serve it up and let him hit it out of the park" opportunity for a campaign commercial for Trump. Trump turned it into a commercial clip against him.

I'm not a freak-out sort of person, and tend to not take things perhaps as seriously as I should in general. But watching his conferences actually makes me afraid. There is no sense that anything is handled. He spews misinformation (easy shit that has already been widely debunked....like EVERYONE watching knows what he's saying is wrong half the time....the other half they find out after) at an alarming rate, flies off the handle, provides an enormous body of evidence as to the unfit-ness of the administration. It's exhausting and anxiety inducing. How are people going to deal with this for weeks??
