As billsonboard pointed out....dangerous tweeting to say “liberate”, as if Demo governors are holding them hostage instead of protecting their lives. Perhaps they should move to the red states without shelter in place but now with skyrocketing case numbers.
Then asshole tops it off with the “2nd amendment under attack”. Anybody know of any plan right now to alter or eradicate the 2nd amendment? No? So he is just tossing a very dangerous bone to all those well armed groups...police, veterans, motorcycle gangs, state militias that he says support him. What’s next? Armed insurrection at every Demo statehouse by cadres of low rent fringe wackos?

This internet is going to EXPLODE when Trump wins reelection. he's running for election?
I kinda figured he would just declare himself supreme leader under emergency/executive/presidential authority.

This internet is going to EXPLODE when Trump wins reelection. Or the US and most foreign countries are going to have a huge celebration when he is defeated.

As it should, if enough American voters decide they want to continue to have a President who engages in the behaviors Donald Trump does continually. The only people that will be up in arms are the dems who live in an echo chamber and think that people are as outraged as them. There are more people identifying as GOP now than in 2016 and way more than 2008/2012, but like the pop vote, it doesn't matter all that much. not a word of truth there. but I can't dignify your post with a response, as it is built on a false premise.

No, but you have Trump..who people know probably does all the stuff he's been accused of. You also have Biden, who is being accused of a lot as well and most people figure he's probably guilty. Also have Biden who has been in the game so long that you know he won't have any new ideas. I'm ok with that, so long as he doesn't have as many bad ones as the current occupant.

Mark my words, Biden does not stand a chance, it’ll be worse than 2016.

There are more people identifying as GOP now than in 2016 and way more than 2008/2012, but like the pop vote, it doesn't matter all that much. Still though, what I don't think Dems realize is that "undecided voters" don't care about politics at all. The average undecided voter does not pay attention and probably thinks that all politicians are clowns. Trump can get away with saying things because he has a 30 year history of being a character, so people expect that from him. What other person could pay off a stripper and say, on camera, that he is going to "grab em by the p*ssy" and still be elected? Does it make it right? No, but you have Trump..who people know probably does all the stuff he's been accused of. You also have Biden, who is being accused of a lot as well and most people figure he's probably guilty. Also have Biden who has been in the game so long that you know he won't have any new ideas. I think many of your assertions aren't true. Many Dems and Independents and non Trump Republicans are aware there is a big segment of people who aren't as unhappy about Trump as they are. I don't think Trump is getting a pass just because he's allegedly always been this way. He lost most of NYC who knew him best if you remember. I'm pretty certain the groundwork was started even before Trump really ran in earnest. The we hate political dynasties was pushed prior to Trump to allow for a wildcard to win. Lessons learned on getting other known perverts elected were used likely before and surely after the election as well. I care less about new or old ideas than you might. I care more about whether they are good. Destroying budgets of parts of govt that could be very important may be a new idea you like, but I find them stupid and harmful. We are behind on the virus response in large part because of Trump's new defunding ideas. We haven't had to pay the piper yet on nukes and other stuff … yet. I think politicians are politicians. I'd be surprised if most people thought a politician should be a whiny attention seeking toddler who seems to only care about praise and tweaking his supporters shorts every day. I think there are fewer people OK with that then you seem to think. IMO it would be wise to hope Bannon and GOP deep money chaos agents don't get their wish of Armeggedon.

I, too, am undecided. but I know that I could never vote for anyone like Trump. ever. not sure I can vote for Biden, either. probably not. I live in a state where I can vote who I feel like voting for, without fearing the horrible possible consequence of re-election.
the oddsmakers still favor Trump. but they favored Clinton last time, so their record doesn't impress me.
I very much doubt that Trump will win, based on all available evidence. but candidly, since this is my last presidential election, I don't really have any skin in the outcome.

there is only so much stupid you can use to cover a failure this large.
some of it will still stick out.

This might be how he can survive it: Donald Trump’s Greatest EscapeHis critics assume this crisis has to take Trump down, whether for the bungled response or the economic collapse. They’re missing something important: He’s been training for this moment his entire life.

i didn't say he was out. I am not even sure I would bet against him today.
what I said is that things are getting worse in every way for him, and for the country.
it is not predictable how this ends. but I doubt it will end well for him.

I read the article and something like it before. The people who said Trump would fail at the casino game were right. They were also right about his partners being screwed. Trump doesn't always succeed. What he does do is always get up and try again. And often trying something different. Ever since I read about Cambridge Analytica and Bannon's involvement with them, it felt like far more of the 2016 election made sense. Sure Trump captured many people's votes by his antics and style, but had not Comey made those it turns out untrue assertions about found emails, Trump would have lost in spite of the massive data analytics done on his behalf. What will happen in 2020? I do not know. Without the data analytics behind him his media savvy means nothing. His media savvy did not keep his Apprentice franchise going, yet Survivor which predates him is staying relevant enough to be on air many seasons later.

I've been reading one of my favorite websites more often, Not Always Right. What Trump's behavior reminds me most of is the asshole entitled customers that are frequently featured in the stories.

I think this premature opening of so many states is going to kill a lot of people. He is going to try and blame it on the governors, but I think it will stick to him.
I have read a lot of info saying most of the repub congresspeople running for reelection are way way behind democrats on fund raising. A judge winning by 120,000 votes when her opponent was endorsed by trump says a lot. Saw several polls showing his numbers going down.

frankly, what this experience has done- the last four years- is greatly diminish my ability to REASON my way through all of this, bills. I hope that makes sense to you, but it probably doesn't.

If he does lose in November, I can see how his daily comments up to the day he is no longer with us, as to how unfair it was that this virus came into being..other wise he would have been reelected easily...never understanding of how much of the country beyond his base despised him as POTUS.. even the members of the GOP, besides those of his base, felt the same way, though would never publicly admit it.

We better hope he doesn't survive this. As even hubs says, if he gets in again, it will be trump unleashed, can you imagine what he will do? Get ready for the trump dynasty and it will put the brutal regimes of dictators to shame. We are just getting a taste of it now. Be smart vote for Biden, no matter your inclination, its really that important.

He is trying to ramp up that hate again. It wouldn't matter who it is, they would find some little flaw and magnify it all out of proportion. They will go after biden soon. It's just like right before the election that came out about all these emails, what emails? You can't win against a smear campaign.

If people would actually pay attention and be a little skeptical about these claims it would not work. But it is clear that we a a lot dumber than I thought. We'll see if we learned anything since 2016

Ah, missed the date - DH just ran across it this morning. He reposted it on fb, and good and bad reactions.
I enjoyed the references to algorithms, fractals, and Shakespeare. Though he left out Austen - she'd have had a field day skewering a character like Trump.
