Appreciate all the support but - truth is I should be better than the guys baiting me. This happens all the time these days. Often in front of my family. But there is a lesson: no need to add to the ugliness; I should be better than what I oppose.

I've come to the notion that he can't help it. I see someone, as a child, always had excuses made for him by his parents when he got in trouble, went onto having life handed to him by his dad, and had YES men around him in business. We learn what we live. It's why the position he is in now is so hard, he has never had to conform. He has the mentality of a middle schooler emotionally. It is evidenced by his dealings with NK and Iran, when he sees his bullying isn't going to work, he turns to stir up shit somewhere else.

I've come to the notion that he can't help it. ... Yeah, and if this were the Mental and Spiritual Health board, ... But it is the Politics board. Donald J Trump is and will remain Donald J Trump, The American voters will decide whether he will be President for another term. I think his behavior, without regard for any psychological explanation, is a good reason to not reelect him.

Well....he is not going to change and the election will decide. We can only change our reaction to him. That is why I wish the Dems running for President would ignore his insults and instead force him to state polices. Knowing he is not going to change and allowing him to control the narrative is only going to get him reelected.

I think a solid portion of the population desired a President less intelligent than them and they made sure to really dig deep to find one at the bottom of the barrel and well...... here we are.
The fact that he mocks people and calls them names is just icing on the cake for these folks.

The President of the United States holds two positions, Chief Executive Officer and Head of State. It is President Trump's behavior as Head of State that I am addressing in this thread. I disagree with him on policy issues. I am disgusted by his behavior. I wish the Republican party would nominate a decent human being to represent their policy positions.

The fact that he mocks people and calls them names is just icing on the cake for these folks. Well, I would word it a little differently. I think a solid portion of the population desired a President "intelligent" just like them instead of some educated snob. A reality show star was the perfect fit.

I would like a president who does not publicly promote ridiculous conspiracy theories.
Birtherism. Wind generators cause cancer. A fellow GOP primary opponents' dad assisted in assassinating Kennedy. Now, he's pushing the theory the Bill and Hillary Clinton killed Epstein. He's claiming Clinton was on Epsteins' plane 26 times (he was on the plan for 4 trips, the 26 number comes from the total number of legs on the trips) and that Clinton visited Epstein's infamous 'island.' (Clinton did not). All to try to distract from all the pictures floating around of Trump and his great buddy Epstein dancing with a bunch of models.
This is not something a good president would do. This is not something even a mediocre president would do. This is shit behavior from a horrible president who has no problem chumming the waters with ludicrous internet plots.

This is not something a good HUMAN would do.

trump has always suffered from Selective Memory Syndrome: Two words: Billy Bush Trump recently got scolded by a bunch of evangelicals for his potty mouth.
As always, Trump expects other people to behave when he himself can't bring himself to do it.

Offering thoughts and prayers and wishing they would end don't stop mass shootings either. Mass shooters self select. Our nation's leader doesn't. We won't stop Donald Trump from name calling. We need to stop him from being the leader of our nation. We need to continue to voice disapproval of Trump's assualt on Presidential norms.

or, in Trump's case, common inhumanity.

I feel Trump is always talking about himself. That he himself, only works hard to beat other opponents. Otherwise its golf, tweeting and fast food.

Repulsive and deplorable behavior. Trump urges media to report whistleblower's namePresident Trump on Sunday said the media should name the whistleblower behind a complaint about his dealings with Ukraine and that such reporting would be "doing the public a service." "The whistleblower gave a very inaccurate report about my phone call. My phone call was perfecto. It was totally appropriate. He gave a report — he or she, but according to the newspapers it's a he," Trump told reporters. "They know who it is. You know who it is. You just don't want to report it. CNN knows who it is, but you don't want to report it. And you know, you would be doing the public a service if you did," he added. The whistleblower's identity is not public. Trump did not give evidence for his claim that CNN or newspapers know the person's identity. "The fixation on exposing the whistleblower’s identity is simply because they’re at a loss as to how to address the investigations the underlying disclosure prompted," Andrew Bakaj, an attorney representing the whistleblower, told The Hill in a statement in response to Trump's remarks.
