I dropped a piece of taco meat on my boob when having lunch. I'm wearing a white tank top. I drank red kool-aid and got it on a white shirt.

Took me four tries to get into my office voicemails. (I kept using my cell phone password instead of my extension password).

I've managed to work 1 full shift at work this month. And that was 8/9/19. Today I'm leaving early for a medical appointment.

Wish we'd gotten up that would have been a hell of a sight to have a bear looking in your window. They have not figured out how to open round door knobs....yet.

I'm buzzed. I stayed later than normal to wrap some stuff up before WFH tomorrow...and was able to hit the office social with beer and wine among the offerings. two glasses of pinot noir on an empty stomach? haha oops.

Best way to shut them up is to involve yourself in the conversation. That's what I probably would have done. Some people are too stupid for words though.

I was a few too many seats away, which tells you exactly how loud she was on the quiet car. next time, though. I didnt realize the quiet car was a thing in the afternoon as well.

Any juicy details? ha, nothing coherent I remember a day later. I was trying to ignore her, so there's that. but I heard talk about a restraining order for an ex-BF, dialing back a Xanax prescription and having to go to a different Dr for something else b/c less Xanax was SUCH A BAD IDEA!! (emphasis was hers) and then back to the ex-BF and why she needed the restraining order and some details about his criminal history. that was um, educational. I half wish I'd known she was going to be broadcasting her ish the whole damn way from South Station, I'd have recorded the lot of it to share online. her phone rang before we left the platform, and she was still talking as we pulled in to the final stop. sorry, not AT ALL sorry, you were in the damn quiet car having a very personal conversation at top volume, while ignoring the death glares from your fellow passengers. you forfeited your right to privacy. and I say half wish, b/c truth be told if I'd known, I would have gone to another car.

You should have moved to where she could see you staring at her. If she said anything, you could have said, "since there's a show being put on, I figured I'd get a better seat."

This may have been answered in prior post but did she have it on speaker. I was at store other day and idiot had huge conversation going and on speaker. I was so tempted to tell her that I knew who she and other idiot were talking about and I would be telling husband about the affair. But I was afraid she would follow me or hunt me down from tag number and rub me out Wasn't sure I could outrun her!

no, not on speaker. I don't think the train car (myself included) could have handled the other half of that conversation lol.....

As I posted in the college thread, ODS is currently soiling the nest. Good kid, but right now I'd pay gypsies to take him.

I spent most of the day playing with kittens. On the way home, we stopped at Whole Foods and I picked up radishes, tomatoes, round zucchinis, baby potatoes, green beans, peas, corn, artichokes and beef (tri-tip).

Going home today. Work tomorrow.I always find that a hard transition. So the last couple of years I have taken to starting and ending my vacations midweek. That makes it a lot more bearable. Especially since I don't work on weekends. It would take a satellite launch with unresolved contract issues to make me do that (contract issues = no launch)

I think I'm actually going to make it at work for the full 8 hr. shift. This will be my 3rd one in August or 13 days of work. I'm leaving early on Tuesday to get estimates for a new garage roof and I'm hoping to get out a bit early on Friday to go camping.

Deafness can be a blessing! I always have two options, take my processors off and be in blissful silence or set my processor program to 100% bluetooth which allows me to listen to audiobook or music with 0% surrounding noise. I use that all the time when I fly!

I'm homeschooling 3 kids, 3rd, 5th and 7th... lets just say when son compared spending time with them to being on the It's a Small World After All ride at Disney the other day i was like, fuck... that's it. I'm so overstimulated most days that I feel like crying for at least an hour after they leave.

I have a colonoscopy scheduled for wednesday, so it's a liquid diet today, and clear fluids only tomorrow.
Today I've had water, a frozen lemonade, a black raspberry milkshake, and a diet pepsi. I'm starving. And hangry.
I think I'll go to the chinese buffet and get a quart of broth.
