I’ve always wanted long legs. No amount of money could get that for me. Geeees, I thought you were at least 7' tall, wearing a Wonder Woman costume with everything you do!

Yes, I am and I'm sure most of them are repubs and blame the dems for them not having a job. They aren't on welfare, can't get it if they are on drugs here. Most of the people around here are repubs. They are more worried about guns and abortion then anything else. Boy this went down fast, went from wanting a pool and a horse,,,, to the lazy repub unemployed druggies.

That was why I liked working, I bought my own clothes and vehicles. He wasn't happy I bought a car when I wanted but I always did and most of what I wanted. He doesn't say anything about what I want and spend normally. But he would have to care for it, where we live I don't know what it would cost to get someone out here. If we were in town, likely easier. Oh well, lets hear what others want. You know what they say about boat owners don't you? Their happiest day is the day they bought a boat, and the day they got rid of it. Inground pools are also in this thought. You have also been talking about selling and moving into the nearby city. Pools usually limit your potential sale to families who want a pool. Many buyers do not want one. Wait until you decide whether you are moving. Keep in mind in our weather area, pools are only good for a few months of great useage. Now if you want to do an addition and put in a covered pool room, that would be worth it!

get a mini horse, they are easier to care for, need less room, less expensive and very capable of pulling a cart

I always wanted to be on stage. Even at community theater. But just too chicken. It's an odd desire, because I am generally an introvert and hate being the center of attention.

You may be right I have 2 boats, neither has been out this year. Too much rain, then my pontoon needs something fixed on it and hubs messes with it off and on. I asked him to take it to a boat repair so I can use it. It has a canopy, my fishing boat does not. If son moves down here he will get my fishing boat. We got it because DD was going to fish with me, then she decided she was afraid because it is close to the water. We got the pontoon and I can't get it out and in by myself. So here it is. It needs the depth gauge fixed and the control that makes the motor go up and down. It will go down, to go up you have to lean over the back and raise it with the control there. Oh, he will get it fixed, yeah, maybe next summer.
Hubs made me wait till I was to old to be able to do it all myself, first year I did ok, now its harder for me. I can get the fishing boat in but have no one to go with me. One day I took the dog.

I wanted a horse from the time I was a kid. My family was poor, we had the acreage 25 acres but it was planted. I would dream and dream about having one. Did as an adult, hubs said cost to much and we never lived on enough acreage to have it. Now I couldn't ride one if I had it. We could keep it on 2 acres, but its pointless, can't take care of it and sure couldn't ride it now. But never got over that wanting one. The other is I've always wanted a pool, nothing grandios, 4 foot deep only. Most of the docs I've had said it would be fantastic for my osteoarthritis and my joints. but no, hubs, cost to much, to much work. If I'm ever alone and even if I'm 90 I'm going to have a pool, I will hire it cared for. Doesn't matter if its just an above ground pool I still want it. Above ground pools will be on reduced price soon. Buy it, store it, set it up next year!

I wanted a ranch in WY from 7 y.o. The ranch did exist but those rest of the story was heartbreaking for me. I also wanted a horse. The horse was on that ranch and I never saw either one of them. In my 50s I found out what really happened and did drive to the land that was supposed to be mine. The horse had crossed the rainbow bridge decades before. Beyond that, I wanted to have my investments support me so I didn't have to work. This I did get but not until much older! I have accompanied my H. on his adventure dreams.
(edit)I also wanted to be a fashion model making millions of dollars. Didn't happen.

You could write and star in your own skit for your animals, family and friends. That might break the ice then we could hear about your larger staring roles.

My GF isn't at that point yet. We go out at least once a week, and usually twice. We were out on Sunday and will be out again tomorrow and Saturday sitting under the Blue Angels practice and show. A couple more times with other people the week after. And that doesn't even include her taking people out when I'm not there which happens pretty regularly.

Country - why couldn't you ride? I know lots of seniors who ride. They often use horses that aren't known for their spunk. But, there are a lot of older, quiet horses out there who need a lot of love.
I couldn't ride a horse now if I had to. I have osteoarthritis in my lower back and degenerative disk disease there too. I am losing the cushioning in my spine around L4, L5, common in older women. I have lost 2 inches in height, one day I may find it difficult to keep walking. My flat feet have caused distortion and wear in my spine over the years. Now I have some scoliosos. I get a bone density and the good part is my bones are still strong and good.Today I was vacuuming and just turned the wrong way and I'm down in my back. So that I just could not do. I've had back issues for a long time. I might be able to wear him down on the pool, but I doubt it. I said something about traveling, he says so go. Now that's fun, taking DD instead of him and her with more health issues and me with some too. I am thinking of heading to Florida for a month or two in January or February. He would drive us down and fly back home, maybe stay a few days. Isn't that silly? But he traveled so long and just has no interest in doing so. But he didn't way back when. He had told my mom many years ago he wasn't traveling in retirement. I always assumed he would, but a lot of days I would be to tired to go anyway. About the only thing I would like to have now is the pool.
Just get th fucking pool. You can even get one of those small 3’ deep, blue ones with the inflatable ring on the top edge at Walmart for a few hundred bucks. Bwahaha... More than once, I have taken a day off work and floated in one of these pools. Yeah, I bought it for my kids, but my kids weren't home, so I used it! It actually worked great. I could reach out and get my cocktail or answer my phone etc. Good times!

I did theater in high school but stopped as more things demanded my time. My dream role is Sally in Cabaret. You have to be able to sing and dance to do that though.

I’ve always wanted long legs. No amount of money could get that for me. Gee, and I got mine for free. It's okay, though. Long legs are overrated. You can't fit in cool cars, airplane flights are terrible, it's sometimes hard to find pants that fit, and sometimes kisses are awkward. You guys think she bought it?

Mine are long too, and for a woman hard to do anything with them. Oh well after all these years I'm stuck with them.

I guess that's another one for me then. I can dunk, or at least could back in the day. Dunking IS overrated though. Still only two points, so why hurt your hands? Or have to come down on top of people?

1- 1967 Pontiac GTO 2-1955 Chey Hardtop, 3 1957 Ford 2 dr, !968 Dodge Charger. There are more...but each is only a dream...not reality. Were I younger, with resources, I would like to have been a professional student. Always something new to learn out there.

I dunno….are you aware of all the hoops you have to jump through with the city planners? Just because that plastic is "green" does not make it palatable to the environmental pc police.....
