LOL...I ran the dial on the major news media after the Mueller hearings and all of them, ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC were all crying in their beers and popping Xanax because there was not a bombshell dropped on Trump. They were crushed. Astounded. The Democrats and the media were bemoaning like their favorite pet dog got run over by Mueller and the hearing committee. They're thinking how could this have happened? It was supposed to be a slam dunk. I imagined a bunch of democrats in a hotel ballroom with tv sets all around and paper hats like a New Years Eve party before the hearing started toasting and back slapping themselves and then when the hearing ended they were dumbfounded. Some of the news media people and political "expert" pundits I expected them to have a box of tissues on the desk and break out crying on the air. On the NBC Today show this morning, the hearing story was the 3rd news story, yes 3rd story on the show and not the 1st like it should have been. You can bet it would have been if the report had said something damning about Trump. They would have been all over that like white on rice. Now instead of the Mueller hearing it's going to be endless impeachment crap until the election. I can't wait for this weeks political cartoons to come out.

I actually thought we got more then I expected, I expected nothing.
He said trump wasn't exonerated said it was not a witch hunt, and he can be prosecuted after he gets out of office, so it sure didn't say he was cleared. No problem with me.

Unmet expectations... they will get you everytime.
You laugh now, but will you still be laughing when it's your expectations that are not met?
Since no one but Trump has exonerated him, I think there will be more to come.

What I really want to know and everyone else should want to know is why the investigation didn't follow the bread crumbs leading directly to Hillary and the DNC and her role in the whole mess. Acting on behalf of the DNC, the law firm Perkins Coie hires Fusion GPS to conduct research on Trump. Perkins Coie hired Steele to get info on Trump and the Russians colluding against Hillary which turned out to be false and used it to get a illegal secret FISA warrant so the FBI could start all this crap. That's the real story here but nobody at the DOJ seems to be able to or wants to connect the dots.

What I really want to know is why wasn't that investigated when Republicans had the House the first 2 YEARS of his presidency. He was so adamant he was going to lock her up. If I remember correctly, they were all going to be frog marched off to prison in Jan 2017. So you tell me why? I've never heard so much moaning and groaning over something that could have been investigated. I think it is hilarious conservatives are still so obsessed with Hillary!

I’m quite sure the rest of us have quite a different view on every point rip made. But when you are looking up out of a bucket of kool-aid what’s to be expected.
I rate the entire screed as FAKE NEWS.

The only reason I can think of that conservatives are still "oh the crying" over Hillary and did not investigate and have her locked up already.....President Trump has to use the chant "lock her up" during his rerun reality show reelection.

I watched that, too - she had a whole montage of Mueller statements pulled together, each one a direct contradiction to Trump.
She seemed pretty darn happy. Maybe she was crying tears of joy?

Well Mueller sure didn't help him, I think he should have gone further. And he didn't say he could not be prosecuted after leaving office. Doubt he will, why if you can't put him in jail. but did not clear him. .He is a crook and will always be a crook.

Here's an interesting fact - the Fusion GPS research on Trump was actually begun by a fellow republican hoping to obtain information he could use against Trump in the primary. When it became evident Trump had won the primary, Fusion GPS shopped the information to Hillary's camp. Which is actually how legit campaigns gather information on their opponent - they hire a research firm rather than asking one of our enemies, in a public rally, on TV, in front of millions of viewers, to please find Hillary's lost emails for him.
This is an actual fact, not something a blogger or talking head on a far right media show said, so I don't expect you've heard of this, but do a little googling from some journalistic sources and see what you can find.
You'll probably find this in a wide array of media sources - maybe even Fox news. Not Fox and Friends, though.

here is another ACTUAL FACT.
rather that using the oppo on Trump, Hillary thought the dossier was too lurid to air publically.
now, imagine for a moment that TRUMP had gotten the oppo. would he have exercised that kind of judgment?

Oh come on. He was clearly cracking a joke, a joke meant to remind us that his opponent was investigated and impeded the investigation by destroying evidence. If you’re so absolutely positively sure that there is nothing important in the tens of thousands of emails that Hillary Clinton deleted, then why would it be a big deal if the Russians got them?

If you’re so absolutely positively sure that there is nothing important in the tens of thousands of emails that Hillary Clinton deleted, then why would it be a big deal if the Russians got them? You don't think it's a big deal that a hostile foreign power is hacking into the electronic accounts of America politicians and either leaking them to Wiki leaks and/or giving them to the opposition parties to use against the candidate?
Wow.
You also think it's fine that a presidential candidate jokes about Russia hacking into his opponents email system and giving him the emails? Double wow.
I guess you didn't read the Mueller report where they determined that, shortly after Trump asked them to hack into Hillary's emails, the Russians did just that. Guess the Russians didn't know Trump was 'just joking.'
By the way, Trump committed a crime when he made that 'joke.'
www.usatoday.com/story/opinion/2019/01/02/trump-broke-law-russia-clinton-emails-hold-him-accountable-column/2449564002/
But by all means, continue to focus your angst on Hillary's lost emails, where she probably bragged about all the people she had murdered to cover up her pedophilia ring - coming up on the 2020 election cycle, when you cast your ballot, you shouldn't worry at all that Russia may be infiltrating your state's voter database and manipulating your vote in a way that they think will sow the most chaos.

Happy, the Russians have been trying to interfere with our democracy for close to 100 years. Welcome to the real world. They were going to do what they were going to do, and they certainly weren’t going to take orders from a guy that nobody expected to become President of the United States. Only a fool would think the Russians were taking orders from Trump. They have their own agenda.
If the Russians efforts to destabilize our democracy had stayed confined to supporting leftist causes, people like you would still be patting me on the head and telling me that the Russians are not a threat. Don’t you remember when Obama mocked Romney for saying that the Russians were a threat?
Yes, by all means let’s make sure our elections are secure, that every vote is counted, and that the people who are voting are actually eligible to vote. And by all means, let’s try to clamp down on the propaganda coming from outside our country. And above all, why don’t we stop taking the bait. The email hacking was designed to undermine the presidency of whoever eventually got in. And they have been wildly successful in that regard. And I’m ashamed to say, if Hillary Clinton had gotten in, my side wouldn’t have acted any differently. Remember how 911 got planned and put into motion while Bill Clinton was distracted dealing with an investigation of his sex life? Do you want every presidency to be like this?

How about correcting voter suppression and trying to keep legitimate voters from voting. These are as serious as any of the issues out there. The only way the "right" can keep winning.

Too bad you can't convince Trump the Russians have their own agenda. He thinks Putin wants to help him out because he's his best buddy, because that's the kind of idiot he is.
Never heard that 911 got planned because Clinton was busy with his problems with his sex life. Silly me, I thought 9-11 slipped through the cracks because all the intelligence agencies failed to communicate effectively with each other, which allowed suspects known as bad actors by only one agency to slip under the radar. So even though this happened when Bush was president, we're blaming Clinton? Sure.
Interesting that you should lecture me on 'not taking the bait' when you seem to do such a fine job of that yourself.

Clinton's impeachment and senate trial were over by February, 1999. Did 9/11 occur in 1999, 2000, or 2001? I forget.

Its not Russia taking orders FROM Trump. It's Trump taking order FROM Russia. He stands by them over his own people! Which totally explains the sanctions he put on them
