The issue isn't that Epstein gave money to a political party. ‘I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.’ - Donald Trump, 2002” The quote is from a 2002 New York Magazine profile of Epstein. (emphasis added)
www.haaretz.com/us-news/trump-praised-terrific-guy-epstein-who-likes-women-on-the-younger-side-1.7453257 It is about who enjoyed hanging out with him and why that might have been the case. I'm sure Bill Clinton did not have sex with any underaged girls when he traveled aboard Democrat Pedophile Jeffrey Epstein's private jet dubbed the "Lolita Express" to the private island nicknamed, "Orgy Island" on the 26 occasions he did so. I'm telling you-- this is a VERY big deal- and it is NOT going to end well for Democrats. You can cling to Trump's effusive praise, which he is known for with just about everyone, for a guy he knew on the periphery of New York billionaire circles if it makes you feel better- but Epstein is a Democrat. He donated to Democrats. He was kept out of prison and off sex offender registries by Democrats, and Democrats like Bill Clinton are the ones all up Epstein's ass.
I do actually agree with this portion of Paul's assessment. Trump does bloviate about whomever it is he's enthralled with during that particular moment.

Sorry you so consistently cling to your whine about the Dems, but I think on this one issue, we can all agree - all religions, all political parties, everyone - that anyone who knew about what Epstein was doing and either condoned it or ignored it deserves to get publically shamed, at a minimum. Those who actually participated in it should get to see the inside of prison.
I'm sick to death of wealth = a get out of jail card, while at the same time, a low income guy caught with a joint gets railroaded into hard time.
We need to clear all the nonviolent drug offenders out of the jails and start arresting the real criminals, regardless of their income.

I didn't see this thread when I started the one in Current Events the other day. Since it is a current event and not political, it makes sense to not look here for a thread. This one is just an excuse to attack the current president and now the Democratic Party as well.

This one is just an excuse to attack the current president and now the Democratic Party as well. Or maybe since there are so many political connections to Epstein, someone felt it was suited for politics and didn't check Current Events.
I mentioned the thread I made so it could be deleted or joined with this one.

You're asking why a president would lie about something? That's rich.
If Clinton was enjoying sex parties with under aged girls, I think you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who's going to go to bat for him on this board.
I say, let's out all the evidence and see what cockroaches scurry out. If Clinton is one of them, he deserves jail time, too.
Epstein had a lot of rich and powerful friends. Trump claimed he was a great guy, until he claimed he hardly knew him. Prince Andrew of Britain was a pal. Exposing him might embarrass a whole lot of people - and that's exactly what needs to happen.
No more special allowances for the rich and powerful.

I read this morning that they pulled lots of porn featuring underage girls off of Epstein's computers. Some of which was labeled by name of the person. And I'm with Happyhoix - get it all out into the open and prosecute. And use the law about needing to pay the person pictured in the porn for suffering/damages/whatever it's called. Epstein can damn well afford to.

Clinton is a private citizen. if he committed crimes, then indict him.
I am far more concerned about the associations of a sitting president. but I guess that is just me.

It's not just in politics. Example. A dark skinned man from a southern state went to a party in a neighboring town with a gun intending to shoot someone. The home owner was quicker on the draw and shot him. Of course the dead guy was a wonderful person. Never hurt a soul. But with a long list of arrests. This happens across all economic levels of society. The caveman mentality regarding women is in the back of every man's mind.
A bit overstated, perhaps, don't you think? I'll Hijack this: I don't think it is overstated... why do most men just "look the other way" when something like this comes to light? I always assume it's because why would they speak out against a "right" they have and possibly have 'enjoyed" themselves in the past? Why would they want to limit their options for the future? It's a "better him than me" thing. So, why don't men say anything strongly against it - or any other "boys just being boys" behavior that involves women? You'd think there had to be at least one man involved with this scandal who had a backbone or had a twinge of conscience or who's morality/religious belief was offended enough to act on it. It wasn't a man who brought the original charges against Epstein - a man who said - hey, that guy = He's paying for sex with girls. That isn't right. We should do something about it. OK, maybe a guy did get the lawsuit started - but I'm sure it wasn't out of a sense of moral decency - I suspect it was to further another man's power/influence.

The man's a walking sack of felonies. That isn't even in dispute by many of his supporters. It's a matter of a will to prosecute. Will this be the tipping point? Probably not.

I mean a 60 year old dude with a 20 year old woman is sick- but it's not illegal if she's willing. It's absurd to infer or imply that Trump was referring to underage sex slaves being systematically trafficked by Epstein encapsulated in the word "young".

And then there's the fact that when he did find out, Epstein was immediately banished from Mar-A-Lago and Trump was the "only one" who cooperated with law enforcement in Palm Beach to get him.

I agree that let the chips fall where they may & take out anyone who participated.
But I'll also add that Clinton wasn't accused by a 13 year old of raping her in Epstein's apartment. That would be the current sitting president.

Neither was Trump. I'm not surprised a bunch of Dems still believe this, but just so you know- it was a fictional accuser. You read that right. The 13 year old in question doesn't even exist. There is no accuser. It was a total and complete fabrication-- to the point where even the victim was made up. There never was a Jane Doe. The salacious allegations have no basis in fact and the "anonymous" accuser has yet to surface- because she doesn't exist.

And before you argue the point, you must answer:
There is a Trump accuser who was 13 at the time of the alleged assault: Yes or No (circle one)

Remind me again what the Clintons were convicted for from that, after so many hours and so much money spent investigating it?

I'm going to blow your mind and say "I don't know"
Any reputable news source that has mentioned this case that I have personally seen has always called her the 'alleged' 13 year old accuser. I haven't seen anything that provides documented proof one way or another, so I've always filed this in the 'rumor' category, which doesn't make it true, and doesn't make it false. Just like the pee tapes.
Since the only thing I've ever read asserting she didn't exist is something you wrote, and I know from experience where you get your 'facts,' I'm afraid I have to continue to keep this in the 'rumor' file.

The Clinton Murder list, touted by many Repo-Cons on this forum over the years, and the Mena cocaine trafficking allegations, came way before Alex Jones.
I'm interested in the non conspiracy theory list you have. Let's get 'em!
