As victims of the House Democratic election massacre speak out about what caused their ouster last November, they are pointing their fingers squarely at a Washington duo: Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama. Then-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) moved their party’s agenda too far left during the past Congress. And then they failed to help rescue the party’s mostly supportive lawmakers, two defeated first-termers who have joined Washington-based think tanks said Tuesday Read more: www.politico.com/news/stories/0311/52154.html#ixzz1IjzAq1hWwww.politico.com/news/stories/0311/52154.html

In 2012, the Reps will blame Boehner and the Tea Party. So what else is new? It is time both the Dems and Reps realized that most Americans are middle of the road.

Excuse me Ms Pelosi is the minority leader in the House and if there is a mutiny then all hell is going to break loose with a fractured democratic caucus in the House...nothing will get done..IMHO

PI, Duh........I am aware of Pelosi's position. I just cannot imagine why the Dems went with her again. The ball bounces both ways, and neither party knows how to field it. When the Dems had a majority in both houses, they couldn't get anything done because of such fractures. Blame leadership. The Rep leadership is no better.

Then why is Pelosi sitting on the sidelines while Obama tries to get his budget for fiscal year 2011???...wasn't that her job when she was Madame Speaker or the Queen of the House?
All she did yesterday was blast Ryan's proposal and accused republcans of trying to balance the budget on the backs of the poor...think I heard that song before but didn't dance to it in 2010..

It would be refreshing if both sides just kept their mouth shut, quite playing politics and got down to the business of addressing the budget problems. But I guess that is to much to ask. I for one have heard enough of the childish bickering.

Republicans, IF they stand their ground in rescuing America from the fiscal disaster ahead, will be sending the TEA Party a thank you letter.

Time to get rid of the 2 parties, we need to vote in people that answer to us not the party. All we have in DC now is the Boyz and Girlz club, they worry more about getting in a 30 second newz clip than they do about getting anything done. Look at the leaders from the two parties, all of them are a joke................ and most are a embarrassment on the world stage. A few repub's "the tea party few" are at lest trying to address the issue's, the dem's and the majority of the repub's are just playing politics.

It will make the entire Democratic party an easier opposition in 2012.

One of these days Obama is going to decide he wants to be re-elected, and he is going to cut a deal with Repbulicans on real and significant budget cuts and he is going to throw 'ol Harry and Nancy right under the bus. It's not going to work for him, but you watch- Obama is going to try to pull a Clinton here by doing something "historic" with "fiscal discipline" in the title.
