Ship. Sailed. Long ago.
Let's take a second look at the other side of the political debate. Have you bee paying attention to the Super Big Top clown circus that is currently going on in Washington,, What Critical Thinking Skills are being put into play there?? I mean,, Impeach him!!! Vote him out!! Impeach him!! Vote him out!!
A side note to that,, If ,, I will repeat if, there is little or nothing in the Mueller report, Will the Congress member apologize to Barr for the liar comments?
Then again, if there is some there ,, the Liar part can stand. Now back to the ?? Critical Thinking Skills?? with the candidates,, Free school,, topped with forgiven student loans, Extreme measures for Climate Change control,, New Green Deal, and much more,,, Really?? Do you really think you will defeat Trump with everyone running fifty different ways,,
The candidates themselves, Holy crap,, where do you come up with these people?? What ever make most of these people think they are the one?? Annnnd ,, the one's that are qualified,, have a ton of baggage,, they are dragging around! Maybe you need to rethink,, those Critical Thinking Skills on the left side,, with all your infighting,, Trump will waltz right back in!!
The party of chaos. (bolded) See how much crap you can throw in the air and see what sticks. We'll run on that. Our base is built on handouts, they will vote us in, and never know the difference. I'm guessing it'll be free something, under any name/category.

Newly leaked documents have fueled two new reports over the weekend of allegations of irresponsible and potentially legally dubious spending by the National Rifle Association. The reports have also given further insight into the ugly infighting in the NRA leadership and into the precarious situation the organization has found itself in as it faces an investigation into possible financial wrongdoing.
On Saturday, the Daily Beast reported that an anonymously leaked document appeared to show allegations by former NRA president Oliver North that the group was facing an “existential threat” in the form of legal bills. In the leaked confidential April memo dating to the week before he was dramatically ousted as president, North wrote that the NRA was being billed nearly $100,000 a day. North then pleaded for an audit of their payments to outside attorney Bill Brewer.
As North contended, the fees could doom the NRA financially. Over the past year the organization had paid Brewer $18.5 million, he noted. North said he had appealed to CEO Wayne LaPierre directly to have an independent review of the law firm’s invoices, but LaPierre denied his requests. He also suggested that the NRA didn’t properly manage the law firm’s work.

North is gone. the NRA will still be there!
Myself and 5.5 million others will continue to fund the NRA. The attempt by others, meaning anti gun groups to show the NRA in bad light , is not going to work! Like I posted above, the Legal fees amount are about $4 a member,, that is a huge bargain for what We receive,, If only the Government was as well run.

Not to worry, The US can print all the money it needs to help reduce the cost of it's 20 trillion debt. The down side is our investment value will suffer the same fate. Unlike the US government, the NRA has restrictions on remaining solvent.

That is interesting! Not only are you predicting that the WH will be in the hand of democrats after the election, you are actually celebrating that?
“…With the 2020 election looming, President Trump wants the N.R.A. to get back on track; he tweeted last month for the N.R.A. to “stop the internal fighting, & get back to GREATNESS — FAST!” Despite the president’s ardent support for the N.R.A.’s agenda, he has been part of the problem. The $128 million in dues the group reported in 2017 was the lowest since 2012; fund-raising often slips when Republicans take over the White House and N.R.A. members’ worries recede. …”

Good - they had on the news this AM that a whistle blower produced evidence the NRA leadership blew $200,000 on new clothes at a single store in LA.
They're getting low on cash again, so hurry to send in your donation so they can organize a nice trip to Bali or Hawaii. After all this agitation, I'm sure they all need a nice vacation.

I like them (NRA), because they helped get Trump elected. Which in turn got a me conservative Supreme Court, not to mention open carry in my home state and many others. Even Washington state is open carry. I'm still waiting for that evidence that Trump colluded with the Russians. Buckling up for the Cohen information. Then the collective we can move on to the next great investigative maybe. You have fun talking about whistle blowers, tweets. Each to his own.

Carolyn Meadows is the new NRA president.
That's an empowered woman I can admire, among others.
Maybe some extra $$ going their way this time.
