Don't seem to remember Obama's My way , Or Highway!! After tension escalated in Wednesday’s debt limit negotiations, President Obama told Republican lawmakers that he will not yield on reaching a deal that includes a long-term deficit cut. Shutdowns are only bad when initiated by Republicans dontcha know. What's that smell ? Oh it's just the double standard again, lol.

I would love that, but it only works if you get rid of Mitch McConnell and his kind. His sole purpose is to stop Democrats from doing anything. Cut, print, end of story. He has no interest in working with anyone who doesn't agree with him. You've also just described about 99% of democrats right now. Sure - no one wants to work with anyone. I dont know who started it, but it has been getting progressively worse over the last few decades. I suspect if we kick out a handful of very valuable players on both sides, the rest would be happy to usher in a new culture.

if there is an example prior to that, I would love to hear it.
otherwise, I think it started squarely in Camp GOP.

Obama taking a hard line on a budget is a little different from McConnell stalling dozens of federal judge appointments over his entire tenure.

It doesn't really matter who started it either, one side thinks up something new, doesn't take long for the other to jump onto the bandwagon.

Also a little different than me liking to brown my ground chuck in a frying pan, before using it for my spaghetti sauce, while watching the news, when it's raining out.

Here is the funny thing every time we get around to discussing reducing the size of Government,,
Never is there any moderation in it ,,, It is either ALL or NONE!!! So Trump scaled back some of the EPA, regulations earlier,,
Are we all back to driving 1956 Buick Road Master cars now?? people dying in the streets cause of all the poison drinking water??
Can Not see over a 1/4 mile cause of the pollution,,
That was the forecast went Trump scaled it back! happen to remember your comments?
How many 1956 Buick Road Masters are they making right now? You DO realize that toxins in the water take some time to build up, correct? You DO realize that poison in the air can't always be seen, like the CFCs in the ozone later 25 years ago, correct? You DO realize that the UV rays penetrating our atmosphere can't be seen with the naked eye, correct? No, I guess you don't. Your posts rarely make any sense.

Trump said that asbestos isn't harmful. What a fucking buffoon. Also, windmills cause cancer.
I don't know if he's really that stupid or he just hopes the rest of us are really that stupid.

Is there a pee-stick test for wind cancer? I might need to stock up on those

Umm, we have all those things WITH government... except for roads which are paid for by STATES. Nice try, though...
I love this. Yes, the roads are paid for by the states. Except for the interstate. And the matching funds. And the grants and military offsets. Oh, and the states. They are not government? Local townspeople just pitching in to clear brush and grade out dirt? Isn't the fed always threatening states to withhold highway funds if they don't toe the line?

what is the caner rate for electrician and electrical engineers, that work around electricity? I doubt that they are any different than environmental engineers, who do not.
but I should also point out that unless you can isolate the variables, it is a pointless discussion. for example, people that were in the Navy have a higher risk of lung disease. but it is not because the ocean is carcinogenic. it is because there is a high propensity for smoking in the Navy.

doing THAT is dishonest, because you are spending like a drunken sailor (which is against the GOP stated principles, I might add), and doing so to force cuts in programs you don't like, rather than just cutting those programs and running a more balanced budget.
the Democrats don't even pay lip service to the idea, imo. or if they do, it is pretty rare.

Yes and older electricians probably worked around asbestos insulation, which is, in fact, carcinogenic, unlike windmills.
I have no doubt that Mr Trump would blame their deaths on windmills rather than asbestos, however.

They might not cause cancer, but they can and most likely do cause adverse health effects...not that liberals give a shit, of course. Their ideology is more important than silly things like people's health Canadian family physicians can expect to see increasing numbers of rural patients reporting adverse effects from exposure to industrial wind turbines (IWTs). People who live or work in close proximity to IWTs have experienced symptoms that include decreased quality of life, annoyance, stress, sleep disturbance, headache, anxiety, depression, and cognitive dysfunction. Some have also felt anger, grief, or a sense of injustice. Suggested causes of symptoms include a combination of wind turbine noise, infrasound, dirty electricity, ground current, and shadow flicker.1 Family physicians should be aware that patients reporting adverse effects from IWTs might experience symptoms that are intense and pervasive and might feel further victimized by a lack of caregiver understanding.

NOTE: I don't much care for studies that focus on stress issues like this. by that measure, posting on this board is unhealthy, but you conservatives seem to not give a shit.

You surely are not so obtuse you think it will happen overnight. But if they are not reversed it will happen. We still have the Flint water situation and rivers used to burn. Also you could not see for the air pollution. I think many companies will not do it, knowing that when dems or sensible repubs get back in they will reverse this. However, coal companies are and will pollute and further do damage to the land.

What does any of that have to do with your bloated buffoon of a president claiming it causes CANCER?

if you are asserting that I don't want a balanced budget, you're wrong.

but dt says they do, so can we concentrate on the really important here for a moment!
Are there pee sticks to test for wind cancer available (I once actively tried to get pregnant (and succeeded) so I know how to use those)? I come from the original home of windmills so I am at risk here I think, maybe? Trying hard to get out of my "elitist" I actually went to school to learn things habit

It's what I vote for. Giving a constituent what he wants, doesn't get any more honest. I wasn't commenting on you not wanting balanced budget. It sounded like you didn't like what was being selected for cutting.

The Wicki seems pretty accurate to me.....u asked a question , I tried to answer...as far as John Love...u could have looked that one up easily...he's dead now...worked under Nixon.... Me thinks u are floundering Anonymous...suggest u take a time out ….[Just saying] ========================== en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Arthur_Love

According to the Wicki....had a real productive life....both politically and in the military...served with above board distinction....also great integrity..when saw what was happening in the Nixon White House...refused to go along and resigned his appointment....to bad we can't expect same type of integrity by todays members of GOP...or his appointed staff...they wait to be fired. shame is we don't remember these out standing Americans after they are gone...I didn't know of him and his history...glad you asked the question.
