Oped, none of my money should go to providing college education. You want that piece of paper, you pay for it. Bad enough I have to pay for high school education. I am in PA too, and I support the cut in college education, but not the one in high school education, as that will only raise property taxes. Corbett is a bit of an idiot. I also think he is as corrupt as they come.

There is a legitimate argument that government programs have actually increased tuition cost. Instead of helping make the same tuition rates cheaper, colleges just built it into the cost. Supply and demand really isn't a difficult concept to grasp. As demand increases, so do prices. Easy money spurs demand. Have we already forgotten about the housing bubble?
