That’s what happens when you defund agencies so you can pay for your traveling. Who wants to defund ? Quote; Talks to avert another government shutdown broke down over the weekend — this time over Democrats' demand for a cap on the number of undocumented immigrants who can be detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
The issue has reared its head because the White House has asked for $4.2 billion for ICE to increase its capacity to detain immigrants to 52,000, up from 40,000 currently funded by Congress. Democrats want to cap the detention space ICE can use to hold immigrants in the interior of the country — away from the border — at 16,500.www.nbcnews.com/politics/immigration/why-ice-wants-more-detention-space-migrants-democrats-want-cap-n970071I believe that you understand even less than I thought of on the issue of immigration. No worries, I won’t hold it against you! It is normal to have a hard time with it if you are born and raised of the land so you don’t actually have to deal with the process. Out of curiosity: “cap on the number of undocumented immigrants who can be detained...” doesn’t mean that just so many can be allowed in the country. Did you know that?

Have you ever lived in fear? And by that I mean fear of anything and anybody that you don’t recognize or know to be a friend. Do you know what is the normal reaction to such a thing? For years, even after I got in the US every time I’d see a cop I had the tendency to shy away, walk across the street so we don’t cross paths, turn my back on and act like I’m interested in some lame dress in a window etc. Can you even begin to understand as to why? Its quite simple: you become conditioned to all of it and sometimes the “fight or flight” or whatever the expression kicks in. They have been told what to do and how to do it all their lives. Maybe they just decided they had enough. But for someone that never experienced or lived thru that it is hard to understand. It takes time, yo7 don’t just flip a switch and act “American like” Well, yeah, you were here illegally. Probably when they enforced the laws. Now you can get a drivers license. Oddly enough to get my license renewed I have to bring my passport, my SS card, and two bills with my name and address on them. Showing the new DL to vote would certainly end the fuss about illegals voting. I was here illegaly for a whole of 8 hours from the time I physically crossed the border to the time I went into ICE custody. Im talking about months after that. That is a “conditioned reflex” as Pavlov would describe it. And it is not because authorities are nice to yo7 and so on. Or the guy with big tattoos on his neck and a machete in his hand for that matter. But again, you didn’t go through it, lived it or grew up in it, it will be hard to understand it. For a foreigner to get a DL they have to present a DL from their country of origin, a valid one and their passport. Visa or not it is irrelevant. DMV is not ICE. You still have to take a drive test. The DL is different, so contrary to all believes, one cannot present that as an ID at the voting polls

fine by me. there are plenty of assholes here. why do you think I am eyeing Europe? because everyone here is angelic?
Not to derail this topic, but did you see where you can buy abandoned villages in Spain for about $96,000? there are places in the Italian and Spanish Mediterranean where you can buy for "free".
you simply have to make $x in improvements after you get there.
and make no mistake, these places, though remote, are absolutely gorgeous.

Now, what are you talking about. You have been telling everyone how wrong CA is about everything. Here is your chance to show us by example. As they say sh*t or get off the pot! Hey if California wants to become a third world, it’s on them. nah. we are going to leave the red states in the dust, and build a future worth living, thanks.

Since you want to make it about me and not the issue. Let's just simply say I not really that concerned about people who have to sneak into a country after not making it in their own, and what they think about me. Illegals should be rounded up and shipped back over the border, or shot while attempting to invade. Refugees should be accepted through due process at border stations only. I don't care about their hard time, or dislike of the process. This country owes them nothing. If they don't like the process, they should go home and try to make their own country into something better. How do you like my understanding about enabling this problem ?

There are some good people out there. Volunteers form ‘underground railroad’ to house migrants dumped by ICE
By Marta Vázquez’s count, since Christmas she’s welcomed 306 newly arrived Central American parents and their children to spend the night at her house in Glendale, a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona. The families had all spent days in federal custody after presenting themselves at the southern border, and had nowhere to spend the night after immigration officials released them in Phoenix. They did not have bus tickets, money or functioning phones. Over the last three months, Immigration and Customs Enforcement has released a reported 107,000 parents and children in Texas, Arizona and California. Shelters, churches and volunteers like Vázquez have stepped in to help these families get to their next destinations. Most are trying to join relatives and friends elsewhere in the US. Freaking released them in Phoenix. Doesn’t Phoenix have a mayor or a police force?

Yes, this is addressed to “x” and if that’s against the rules then so be it! You just proved that you know absolutely nothing about the immigration process but you are a good, obedient buddy for those that are borderline nationalists. It is not illegal to ask for asylum at the border or entry points. That makes the requester “legal” Even If one were to enter illegaly and plan to stay thta way, shooting them is just the most inhuman way to treat a person for wanting a better life. I’d agree with it if such a person committed murders or treason only. There it goes any claim of yours (if you ever made one)at being a Christian. Most of those that come ARE NOT expecting to be given/handed anything. They will earn anytning they need in time. And no, no matter how hard you try you will not understand the problem and I’m not expecting you to. I’ve been through all the steps and I’m still confused sometimes. All that anger packed on you!? Geez! Relax a bit and stop worriyng! Whites will be a minority soon in this country so you might as well make your peace with it!

Unfortunately there are enough that do expect handouts ……..
It is not illegal to ask for asylum at the border or entry points. That makes the requester “legal”
Example only ………… if a thousand families come to an ICE office at a border crossing per DAY and say 'I want asylum" …….. what are you going to do with them seeing as how they are 'legal'.
Where is your common sense?

ICE has dumped 18500 illegal immigrants off at bus stations and churches in the last three months,, With NO warning!!
Sounds like you can now hire more people for even less money! We need beuracrats. Let's fund the crap out of the immigration process. Instead of letting asylum seekers roam around, get them into the courts as swiftly as possible. Increase the number of judges and process these people much more quickly. The backlog is insane.

My personal feelings in regards to illegal immigration has the same level of feelings/anger as spraying for weeds, lol. The multiple premises in your post are couched in ignorance. Especially the white part, lol. Did the "I don't care about their hard time or dislike of the process" in my post, come across to you with a different meaning ?
