on face value, no, I wouldn't. I will boycott or do business with those businesses I feel are doing right by the general public. unions exist because of a need to protect a certain class of worker from the richer class of owner/manager. there are certain situations where unions still hold value, but they are far fewer and farther between than the original unions. unless such-and-such a union can show (alongside those 'boycott' ads) that they are being slighted, I wouldn't blindly boycott based on signs.

The only unions at issue here are public sector unions, so if you feel government workers are being exploited by their employers (which is YOU, by the way), then by all means boycott away...

I would boycott a business that supported the unions in any way.

I am now boycotting Walmart because of their partnership with DHS.

I probably wouldn't,but know pro union people that would.I also know anti union worker people that would boycott those with pro union signs. It is their right to do business with who ever they please.

Don't all US businesses support public unions by paying taxes? There is a huge difference between supporting by force through taxation and supporting voluntarily. Nice try though.

If I was a union member, of course I would boycott. If not, it would depend on the cause.

That is the heart of the issue, yes the public supports public unions, but I don't think they have been aware of how much it was costing them and now a large part of the public don't think it is worth it.

....that refused to display one of these signs? I wouldn't. Wisc. Union to Small Businesses: Support Us or We’ll Boycott Small business owners in southeast Wisconsin have been given an ultimatum by a local public sector labor union: Proudly display our pro-union sign in your storefront windows or we’ll boycott.
“Failure to do so will leave us no choice but (to) do a public boycott of your business,” states a letter to businesses from the Wisconsin State Employees Union, AFSCME Council 24. “And sorry, neutral means ‘no’ to those who work for the largest employer in the area and are union members.”Reluctant business owners say they prefer to remain neutral in a battle that should be settled in the Capitol and not on Main Street. Rev. Jesse Jackson defended the union’s boycott effort to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel stating that it’s merely a “nonviolent tactic used to get attention to the steamroller tactics” of Wisconsin Republicans and Gov. Walker.
Call these anti-small business threats “non-violent” all you want. That doesn’t mean they won’t do a lot of damage to innocent bystanders if and when the union follows through.
laborpains.org/2011/04/04/wisc-union-to-small-businesses-support-us-or-we%E2%80%99ll-boycott/I wouldn't support a business that DID hang those signs!
