A state analysis concluded that the terminal would allow 22 million tons of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere over a 20 year life span!!
Then I thought hmmmmm, carbon dioxide,,,, we could save the planet easily,, if all of the pro Climate Change people stopped breathing!!!

On Wednesday, NASA and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) released their annual report on global temperatures and climate conditions — 2019 was the second warmest year on record, and the past decade was the warmest ever. These types of temperature milestones are the norm now; every month it seems another record is set, and every year we reach another global warming milestone. In fact, the hottest years on record have all occurred since 2005, according to the report. www.cbc.ca/news/technology/climate-2019-1.5427586

The researchers working on the Thwaites Glacier, recorded water temperatures at the base of the of more than two degrees C or 3.6 drgreees F above the normal freezing point!!
I guess my question would be,, if it was not warmer,, wouldn't still be ice?

Seeking the middle ground where the truth is not the constant the sky is falling, the sky is falling,
Pretty hard to convince me when we were told all the arctic ice will be gone a couple of years back, it is still there. Lots of other things.

Do you believe that you represent the "middle ground"? i think it is serious enough to pay attention to the science.
predictions are just that.
lots of people thought that the dow would be over 30k or under 20k by now.
neither has happened.
does it cause me to believe that the dow will never go to 30k or that 20k is out of the question? of course not.
the real question is simple: is the earth warming? the answer is yes. the next question is just as simple: can we do anything about it.
if you think the answer is yes, then you should do something about it. if you think the answer is no, then i am not sure that your response is to do NOTHING. that is a very cynical response, imo. you should behave in a responsible way, whether or not you think you are part of the problem. that is what i think, anyway.

Antarctica just registered its hottest temperature ever The hottest temperature ever recorded in Antartica was measured on Thursday at a remote station on the continent's Northern tip, scientists said. The temperature was nearly 65 degrees Fahrenheit (18.3 Celsius) at Argentina's Esperanza research station, scientists from the country's meteorological agency said. This means that the temperature at Esperanza was practically identical to what was felt Thursday afternoon in San Diego, California. www.cnn.com/2020/02/07/world/antarctica-registers-hottest-temperature-on-record/index.html

Yes. It's warming much faster than the rest of the world.

When it records the hottest temp ever, meh, no biggy. When they record the coldest temp ever - SEE IT IS OBVIOUS THERE IS NO GLOBAL WARMING, IDIOTS.
Climate change = new highs and new lows. A more extreme planet.

the middle ground is that we first all agree that global warming is real. the second middle ground is that we agree to CONSIDER the idea that humans are responsible. anything else is not really the middle ground. it is utterly fringe radicalism.

Yes, that’s a key element of the hoax conspiracy to ruin American capitalism with Marxist climate lies.
