Dinner at their house must be interesting.
I do appreciate his candor, though.

I may not agree with his politics, but he has been spot on with his perception of DT!
I'm betting that Kellyanne agrees with him in private, but will continue to spew the lies to keep the $$$ coming from her job.

Kelly Anne often appears to be a Twit, but I just wonder given the appearance of Polar Opposite Opinions of Trump between Kelly Anne and George Conway, if she is possibly not an FBI or Mueller Informant?
Why they are not in Divorce Court is otherwise a mystery.

Why they are not in Divorce Court is otherwise a mystery. did you ever see James Carville and Mary Matalin sharing a round table in their heyday as opposing pundits? it's not unheard of. although I do agree with whoever just said she's probably in agreement in private. how she's still there is beyond me.

I used to love watching both of them, I believe they said they had a "no discussing politics" at home rule.

I get that Kellyanne gets paid to be a good PR promoter for Trump, so she'll crawl on glass before she says something negative about him in public, but I think in private, she must bitch to George a lot about what a hard job she has, and how Trump constantly makes it harder, especially due to this chronic lying thing. As George pointed out, it serves no purpose at all to deny something that was recorded on video tape. I'm sure she gets paid well, though. Maybe she's just holding on long enough so that she can afford to retire with a nice nest egg and college for her kids paid for.

Just how expensive is college in the USA, if she has to demean herself by working for Trump? She and her husband had a net worth of almost 40 million before she became Trump's lying spokes-patsy. But when Conway joined the Trump administration, she and her husband, New York City lawyer George Conway, disclosed assets worth up to $39.3 million. www.businessinsider.com/how-kellyanne-conway-became-rich-2017-7

For whatever reason she's doing it, I prefer to believe it isn't because she really believes a word that comes out of his mouth.
I don't know, though, maybe she has swallowed the kool aid.

Some jobs are just not worth holding unto unless your kids would literally be starving in the streets without that income. However, I am reasonbly certain that George's income is enough to prevent starvation, so she if she privately agrees with George, she is selling her soul for attention and $$$ → very slimy to say the least

JHC, I just Googled the man. He is very bright- Harvard, Yale, clerked for Scalia. He is also a serious Republican- and represented Paula Jones in her lawsuit against Bill Clinton. He dated Laura Ingraham before marrying Kelly Ann. yikes. 😯

Yes, he's a hard core Republican, and he almost went to work for Trump.
However, he's also a hard core constitutionalist, and early on, got offended by Trump, and he's been tweeting his ire ever since.
Which makes it even more amusing - he's not some snow flake liberal saying shit about Trump. He's (in theory) the same party as Trump.

Nothing "in theory" about it. The Repubs accepted dt as their candidate so dt with all that goes with it is a repub. If they don't like it they need to force him to be an independent

Trump recently called for unity, peace and harmony, then spent the weekend busily attacking and insulting people in a tweetstorm.. Even deceased people who can't fight back. Maybe if he ate a vegetable, he wouldn't be so constipated and might be in a better mood. He's still be mentally ill, however. All the broccoli in the world couldn't fix that.

There was an ad on the bottom of this page, requesting that I take a survey on how DJT is doing. I did; it was fun to fill out what I thought of him

All those 'we's he kept mentioning are the voices in his head. More and more I think he's living in an alternative reality where he believes the whole country adoringly supports him and thinks he's winning every single day.
My mom got like that when her dementia kicked in - she always told me how she was worn out from busily running errands all day in her car (she hadn't driven in five years, at that point). Didn't help to correct her, she was living in her own world, it was 1960, she had three small kids, she was 30, she weighed 130 lbs, and daddy would be home for dinner soon.
Trump's parents both died from dementia. Just sayin'.

Trump goes after George directly: “A total loser!” Trump tweeted, in response to a post from campaign manager Brad Parscale about George Conway — who despite his wife's senior role in the administration has emerged as an outspoken Trump critic.
“We all know that @realdonaldtrump turned down Mr. Kellyanne Conway for a job he desperately wanted. He barely worked @thejusticedept and was either fired/quit, didn’t want the scrutiny? Now he hurts his wife because he is jealous of her success. POTUS doesn’t even know him!” Parscale had tweeted Monday night. www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/donald-trump-slams-kellyanne-conways-husband-as-total-loser/ar-BBUXxuX

I’m wondering what a coordinated twitter asssult by 50 participants would do to Trump. Would his circuit breakers just blow in an array of sparks and smoke?

It's terrifying that the most powerful leader in the world is a toddler prone to fits of temper.
If there was anyone responsible left in the WH, I would hope they could subtly sneak Trump into a padded office with a fake phone and fake nuclear football and let him bounce off the walls a bit until it was time for his cheeseburgers and Hannity chit chat, but I don't think there's a WH admin person left with the balls to admit Trump is mentally unstable and we need protection from him.

“It’s so maddening to watch,” said Conway, a longtime Washington attorney who is well-known in conservative circles. “The mendacity, the incompetence, it’s just maddening to watch. The tweeting is just the way to get it out of the way, so I can get it off my chest and move on with my life that day. That’s basically it. Frankly, it’s so I don’t end up screaming at her about it.” And later: But Conway said Trump was damaging conservatism for decades to come and that it was not worth the bargain for judges and conservative policies. He also shrugged off Trump calling him “a total loser” on Twitter.
“I thought it was a perfect example of the point I was making,” Conway said. “He can’t concern himself with affairs of state. He’s more concerned about what people say about him and waging little battles with everyone and everything.”
