Oh, my!
How much things change in a few days.
Bernie was the top candidate, now everybody is dropped out, endorsed Biden and Bernie is struggling. My guess, Biden will be the Democratic candidate. Will he win in November? A few days ago I would say he had no chance. But with the Coronavirus pandemic, the poor response of the White House, and the general unpreparedness of this country (no universal coverage, no guaranteed sick pay leave) I think he has a good shot at it.
I think we are headed for a recession, big time. That would sink the Donald.
Personally, I find Biden too old, probably a little senile and too much of a Republican lite for my taste. He also has the charisma of a wet kitchen rag. Anyway, I'll vote for him in November. Whatever moves us away from the orange catastrophe.

Biden has really resurrected his campaign.
he is now the candidate to beat, and has a clear path to the nomination.
I am going to move over to the presidential thread now.
that, and the Senate are going to be of the greatest national interest.

Yup, I agree with most of what you write, and I too am concerned about the possibility of recession. Regarding Biden's charisma- I disagree. In person he has charisma in spades- believe it or not given some of his recent televised appearances. Will that shine through on camera going forward? I can only hope so!

Geeeees, wonder why it does not seem to be working well, I heard very few guns are being turned in. New Zealand collects about 56,000 guns in buyback program after Christchurch massacre
(CNN)New Zealand officials collected about 56,000 firearms as part of a sixth-month gun buyback program that ended Friday, according to a news release from the country's Minister of Police. The New Zealand government instituted the program after 51 people were fatally shot at two Islamic houses of worship in March. The man accused in the shooting, Australian citizen Brenton Tarrant, 28, has pleaded not guilty to 92 charges, including 51 counts of murder. New Zealand's parliament voted almost unanimously in April in favor of changing the country's gun laws and banning all military-style semi-automatic weapons. "When we started the buyback and amnesty we had one objective, to make our country a safer place," said Stuart Nash, minister of police for New Zealand. "We focused on the type of assault rifles, high-capacity firearms and military style semi-automatics used in the terror attack 40 weeks ago, on 15 March. Don, like in the U.S.,,, They have no idea how many guns are out there. 58,000, is meaningless.

Guns are the least of your problems Don, with the Corona Virus on almost every door handle. Don't touch your face now.

Our golf trip to Tucson in two weeks is now in jeopardy as is Donnadub’s yoga retreat trip to Costa Rica with her sister.

Hey Biden, want a really good choice in running mate for the V.P. ? Interesting. Has the VP choice ever been the guy the nominee primaried against? Pence wasn't one of the 28 republicans that ran. Smiles McWeirdo (I can't remember his name - Tim something) didn't run against Hillary. Biden wasn't a major player in the 08 primary. Palin wasn't in the ring. Chaney not in politics. I can't really remember all the losers. But every cycle we push the guy that just bailed from the race as the best running mate. There must be a good reason they never make the ticket.

Morgan Freeman. Morgan had a sex change operation? I thought Biden had said he was going to have a female running mate Glenn Close then. Glenn Close played a vice president in Air Force One.
