Let's compare party of inclusions, shall we? 2016 Republican presidential candidates: 2020 Democratic presidential cabdidates: Party of inclusion has pretty much let the included down.....we are down to white people (other than Cory) and an Oriental billionaire. Democrats say one thing, inclusion, then exclude them , as democratic voters not only said no to them, they said hell no, through the process. Then again Hillary claims you might still have a traitor in the mix who is not all white, so all is good. That's your take, I don't agree. Just look at who is representing Democrats in the House and Senate, then look at their counterparts in the Republican Party.

Those who have left have left because of funding along with their message not resonating with the public. Has nothing to do with their race or gender. And lets not forget what trump said about Carly Fiorina. You must have been very proud of trump.

Those that have dropped out had not only funding issues but were relatively unknown on the national stage. I felt it was more of a positioning move for downstream, or consideration for veep. Beto did have some recognition, but greener than a Christmas wreath on the White House front door.

Okay, for those of you who disagree about the democrats not being inclusive I think you actually would be helped if you listened to some minority democrats who claim this is what has happened.....
www.msn.com/en-us/news/opinion/the-next-debate-stage-won-t-look-like-the-democratic-party/ar-BBXOmQq?ocid=msn360
There are numerous articles out there claiming this issue is true. This also happens when a party accepts the mantle of identity politics. You not only have to allow any minority person to stay in the race until the end and actually supply the needed funds to keep them alive in the race regardless of not having the backing of actual voters of the party.....all before even one vote has been cast by anyone! The field is now the party of millionaires/billionaires and old white people, just like the Republicans.

My daughter said there are a group of people at her school that are super politically engaged, and the oldest will turn 18 two days after the election. I have learned to never count on the youth vote, but I would love to have my cynicism and doubts wildly destroyed in 2020. The youth vote was there in 2008, and was there in 2016 with Sanders in the primary. They do seem to need that catalyst of a person who exudes that special confidence that excludes most cadidates, that being a message that hits the heart of the young voters. For whatever reason if the message is not there, the youth voters seem to be disinterested in showing up. Biden and Warren probably fall into the category of not hitting this demographic. Sanders and Mayor Pete probably do, but Mayor Pete seems a little too middle of the road politically and has to work on his message. So far in Iowa the crowds look pretty old for most of the candidate's campaign rallies, but young people in Iowa are probably a minority group.

Sure, but did the old white guys have more funding because they are inherently better suited for the job, or because old white people still control the country....including the Democratic party?

Wait. We have foreigners running? Foreigners illegally vote in our elections according to the Republican party so why not let them run for office too. Obama was Kenyan, so since we had a foreigner for a president, we might as well let them vote too.

McCain was Panamanian, so, what choice did we really have? I don't remember anyone making a big deal out of it. Maybe because he's white? Probably. It had already been decided. Apparantly there was a court that decided Goldwater could run even though he was born in a territory instead of a full-fledged state. Maybe that was used as presendent to say that McCain could run because he was born on a military base instead of US soil? What is it about these Arizona guys? Can't they just be regular white Americans? Why they gotta make it so complicated?

His citizenship came up, but didn't get as much traction. Opponents focused way more on war crimes / hawk behavior. Then he chose Palin, and she became a much easier target. Neither liberals, nor conservative republicans were kind to him.

Do ya' think McCain might have been brought up because so many, including our current president, brought up the question of Obama's birth certificate?

McCain's problem was with conservative Republicans as well as Obama ran an actual campaign and McCain was lost in the ditch along the way. Republicans tried to get the females worked up and vote for him with a female running mate and America saw right through that. Democrats are still trying to do it, without success. Yes, it will happen, just not in 2020. I see it in 2024 if Mayor Pete does not run away with it.

Biden already is making excuses why his Presidency will be a disaster.
He says the next President will inherit a recession. He has not only been wrong for 40 years on international decisions he has backed, now he is wrong on America.

Yea. I won't hold my breath waiting for Value Buy to provide a link to that claim. Perhaps as spurious as Trump’s repeated claim that Obama was going to war with North Korea. Speaking of which...it appears as if we are much closer to that now than we ever were under B. Hussein.

Speaking of which...it appears as if we are much closer to that now than we ever were under B. Hussein. As a youth and during his formative years, Barack Obama was indoctrinated as he sat at the foot of North Korea's great leader, Kim Il-sung. It is no surprise we were never really close to going to war with North Korea during Obama's term in office.
