Biden had a townhall meeting on CNN Monday night. Did anyone watch it? I missed it as I never saw an ad for it. I understand he waundered around on a few questions and was almost incoherent in his answers to the moderator. How is that something you "understand"? You obviously didn't hear him directly. Is it something that you heard indirectly and can provide a link? Is it what you want others to think happened so you word it in a way that you hope isn't questioned? Please help me understand.

Does anyone agree we can now winnow the field down to the top five, maybe leave room for Bloomberg, or another billionaire if they join the fray, and dismiss the other declared candidates now? Just wondering if I can put up a new improved list of contenders........ I get that you are not happy with the Democratic candidates.
but I am. I might actually vote for one of them this time. first time in 24 years.

Okay, I heard snippets on of all places, cough cough, Fox Cable. Trust me, hs answers to the moderator's question a couple of times were scary. Yes, my opinion, but they were incoherent to the actual question. I assumed CNN had the actual twon hall at their site, but all I could find was one question video where he was asked of Congress should Impeach, but not the entire session was there.

After Obama left office, an 'enlightened' poster claimed it would be another 100 years before the United States would ever elect another African-American president. And according to that poster, we shouldn't doubt him. EVER.

I don't know what that means

Biden is having another weak streak. he is at his lowest polling number since early in his campaign, 26%
Warren, meanwhile, is picking up steam again. she recently had her first #1 showing in 2 weeks (Economist), and is now behind Biden by 5%
Sanders is also coming up, still, approaching an interim high of 18%, only trailing Warren by 3%
Buttigeig continues to rise, but now Harris is as well. both are well back, but over 5%

I watched it...pretty much only one I have almost in it's entirely...possible because I favor him...still do. I didn't see what u described...got a link..? Actually he was composed...answered questions in a down to earth matter...didn't hold any punches either...good presentation.

I saw a Bloomberg commercial this morning. was it a positive one and what he would do or did he go after Trump? I have read he will not go after any democratic candidate, but Trump is his target.

I saw a Bloomberg commercial this morning. We saw one last night and my daughter was a little confused. She has been trying to keep informed, as it will be her first time voting, so when a new guy popped up she was like "wait, what?" We caught her up. But, I believe she will ABT the top vote. I have been talking with her about McSally v Kelly for Senate, but I think I am going to spend a long time talking about state and local, just so she gets the idea that they matter. Because they really, really do.

I'm just raging at the passage of time.

Mine is bummed she can't vote in the primary because her birthday is after the primary but before the general election. Stupid state law. ETA: She went to a debate party for the last debate. Gen Z is pretty engaged.

I have learned to never count on the youth vote, but I would love to have my cynicism and doubts wildly destroyed in 2020.

Let's compare party of inclusions, shall we? 2016 Republican presidential candidates: 2020 Democratic presidential cabdidates: Party of inclusion has pretty much let the included down.....we are down to white people (other than Cory) and an Oriental billionaire. Democrats say one thing, inclusion, then exclude them , as democratic voters not only said no to them, they said hell no, through the process. Then again Hillary claims you might still have a traitor in the mix who is not all white, so all is good.
