Go Beto,!!!! you are my choice for Democratic Presidential Candidate!!! and my choice for Vice President any one of the four little girls! Aoc, Pressley Tlaid,or Omar!! There have the face of the New Democratic Party! Yea, they do act like six year olds.
As do you a good deal of the time, OC. Now, let's put an end to this argument: We have a rule against name-calling involving political figures. As I see it, calling fully grown women "little girls" falls into that category. For that reason, I'm going to ask that you not continue to do so going forward. Thanks. mmhmm, Politics Moderator

And,,,, I am call a troll!! Yes indeed you are. You referred to legitimate candidates for the office of Vice President of the United States as "little girls". That is disrespectful, and trollish. The response in the form of a question was perhaps a bit trollish as well. However with tongue planted in cheek it was a literal reply to your statement. "Little girls" would be approximately six years old, or so. Wow.in the republican suicide watch, you called trump a jackal and that is not name calling.......but OC IS TROLLING........This message to be banished to the beef thread very soon!

It does? How about folks switching now that the herd is obviously thinned. Has it really thinned that much? When you are polling a fraction of one percent, and falling off the grid, every one of their percentage totals would have to go strictly to Biden and no one else and that would not move the needle more than about a half of percent. I did find it interesting Warre and Bernie were still close and both Mayor Pete and Kamala Harris were at 6%. I thought she had fallen into a hard fifth place and he was alone in fourth well ahead of her.......... But, as we know, this is simply one poll in one moment of time......

People are going to be all over the place for a while yet. I know I am. If it's gonna be Joe he needs some money though. His bank is seriously challenged. Yes, I am 71 and he does not seem to generate too much attention in my immediate personal sphere. Most of my wife's and my family are democrats and no one has him as their selection except for a sister of mine, but her husband wants Bernie. I think our parent's generation would have backed him to the end. Being from Indiana, our family members are either in Bernie's camp or switching towards Pete B. Everyone likes an "in the state" candidate.

In a way that has been his strength, but also his weakness. Certainly it is why he needs bank. People feel enthused and compelled to donate to Warren or Bernie. Joe? Not so much. Plus, I think a lot of people assume he has the big money backing anyway. Interesting (though geographically not surprising) that a lot of people you know gravitate toward Buteguig. (SP) I think he comes across as very grounded, intelligent and sensible. I just wish he had more experience, but at this point I could certainly be persuaded. I think the momentum behind Joe is, and has always been, Democrats will vote blue no matter who, because they didn't in 2016 and they lost. Joe may not appeal to Democrats, but he may appeal to independents, or Republicans that don't like the current state of the party. My Dad probably wouldn't vote for Warren, but he may vote for Joe because he think Trump is a POS. it might be the first time he would ever vote D for President. He will write someone in, or skip voting if it is Trump v someone too radical for him. He did not vote for either of the main candidates in 2016. There are many millions of people like him.

I think it is Independents moving away from DT with all his lies & other problems now. They would rather have someone more middle of the road than either Warren or Bernie. And....BERNIE IS NOT A DEMOCRAT! Personally, I'm seeing more leaning towards Mayor Pete.

Considering his "getting took more every day", I think it's clear Tennessee has a complete idiot on their hands who is too stupid to even know what privileges he has always had. Then again, didn't we once have a poster from Tennessee that argued that white privilege didn't exist?

Eastern Tennessee is very white and some of whom feel (incorrectly of course) their racial privilege is being diminished.

Warren will move center if she wins the primary. But even if she wins the WH, it doesn't matter, unless the dems get the Senate. And even with that, there are too many moderates that won't let policies get crazy left.

this is the only poll that shows her up in the last week. all of the other polls show Biden up, one by 15%. she is not closing the gap at all.
the poll did, however, show some encouraging signs for Sanders and Buttigeig, who is now well ahead of Harris.

There is a poll out today showing Mayer Pete leading in Iowa with Biden in second, Warren third and Sanders fourth. Looks like somecandidates will have to stop attacking Trump daily and temper the socialist rhetoric because even democratic voters are seeing through this line of b.s. Sanders and a few below him in the rankings will have to start actually discussing the warts of fellow candidates to win the nomination.

Does anyone agree we can now winnow the field down to the top five, maybe leave room for Bloomberg, or another billionaire if they join the fray, and dismiss the other declared candidates now? Just wondering if I can put up a new improved list of contenders........

To their credit, several people loudly disagreed, and at least one lady walked out. What an ignorant piece of work. Sadly, not confined to eastern Tennessee. I talk to people here like that.....
