So do I get to OPENLY hate them if I believe they have non-scientific, illogical, and selfish reasons? I don't tell my SIL I think she's a stupid fucking idiot for not vaccinating her kids for family harmony. I have no problem telling that to other people. And would keep hypothetical children away from those I know that aren't vaccinated. Is that openly hating someone? I'm sure some likely would say that. BTW - There are no scientific, logical, and non-selfish reasons to refuse to vaccinate (with the only exception medical, as that would fall under a scientific reason). Here's the thing, I agree with you. I also don't know that I would refrain from telling my SIL that I disagreed with her. And if I felt like she was questioning my parenting regarding this topic, the vitriol that spewed from my mouth would burn a cast iron pan.
Here's the philosophical devil's advocate part: Does she get to openly bash me for vaccinating my kids? This isn't specifically about vaccination--though that's certainly what made me think of this Big Idea topic. When is it okay to privately disagree with a stance versus crossover into a public hatred and condemnation of a stance?

Clot thought #12: Am I so bored by being at home and trying to have adult interaction that I've become an internet troll? That's really not my intent here. I really did start out and believe I'm still just trying to have a philosophical debate about how society views groups, allows court of public perception, and how I fit into that. Shit. I don't want to be an internet troll when I grow up. Stupid clot.

Can I openly hate people who can't park? If you take up 2 parking spots, I want to key your car Okay! Here's another example! Great! Because even though some of us have made this about vaccinations specifically, that's not my Big Idea intent.
If I drive my husband's F-250, I always take two verticle spots. That thing doesn't fit in one verticle spot. My choice is to either have 1/4 of the truck sticking out into the parking lot or take two verticle spots.
Do you still want to openly hate me/group of people who take up two spots? Is that justified hate?
I suppose another analogy could be political parties. I don't necessarily want to go down that road though. just don't take a prime parking spot and park crooked, and I'm good. I understand longer vehicles need longer spots. The parking lots around here must be bigger. Trucks fit just fine.

I openly hate people that park so close to my car I can't get in the drivers side, or back out of the space! Them I shame them of Facebook.
So, that version of shaming is okay?
*keep in mind, I'm having a philosophical discussion because I'm bored.Yes. Because they are stupid, clueless, and/or inconsiderate. Kind of like anti-vaxxers

That's weird isnt' it, that we both live in rural areas, that I'm sure there are as many trucks here as there, and yet the parking lots here are not conducive to trucks. It's common practice here for a full-sized truck to (a) park on the distant perimeter of a lot to not annoy regular-sized vehicle owners, (b) back into a parking spot so leaving is easier, and (c) take up at least two if not four spaces.

I've really only refrained because I don't have kids. I've spoken up if it comes up in person, but ignore the online stuff. Though I've argued with my mom on some when she's tried to get me to "see the other side". If I do it will be...interesting. I know they've gotten some vaccines. She does bash vaccines and other modern medical stuff on social media with regularity...though it hasn't been a direct naming names bashing. As for the line - I think it is somewhere between opinions and facts that people are denying.

FOUR spaces? Is it the size of an aircraft carrier? It's a regular F-250. At least 30% of the population have them. They're work trucks. Most people in the rural portions of the Western USA do actually need them for work and for towing.
I'm not good at parking in general though. And I don't drive it that often, so it's not a skill I've improved upon with that size of vehicle. My husband never takes more than two spaces and often just takes do one. I take four when it's easily available. The normal spaces are narrow enough that it's a tight fit. And even if I get it in there unscathed, I still have to get out of the truck. If I had to get a baby out, that really is narrow. Seriously, we--the general truck driving we--just park on the outskirts where the parking lots are usually empty. I promise it's common practice in the PNW. If someone parks their truck "up front" and takes more than one space, then people should be annoyed with that person. If you choose to drive a truck, you accept that you're parking way out in the lot or on the street, etc.

You can often hear me in a parking lot muttering about "don't buy it if you can't park/drive it". I spend way more time waiting on these fools trying to park in a space close to the store than I should. I also have issues with fools who want to back into a space and completely fill the sidewalk behind them. I have lots of anger about lots of small things.

Parking spaces are at a premium, especially after a snow storm. You can spend half an hour driving around looking for ONE parking space, and here's someone who has taken up four.

No they aren't. The vast majority of them that get any of these ailments ride it out, recover and are immune forevermore. "Or actually really any medical ailment" as she had in parenthesis, is what was standing out for me in her post. So? It's not an all or nothing proposition. You do get to make choices in your medical care and never forfeit your right to access modern medicine.

I suppose another analogy could be political parties. I don't necessarily want to go down that road though. You have to park at the farthest end of the lot. You know the size of regular parking spots, if you choose to drive a tank it's on you to not inconvenience the rest of us with it. There's a special place in hell for people that take 2 prime parking spots close to the doors, especially in winter.

Is it ok to hate inanimate objects ?

I just run in for a couple of minutes. Seems reasonable for a quick stop.
