This morning I turned on Fox cable news. Yes I know FOX............ The reporter imbedded with the caravan reporting on it's progress (who also interviews migrants along the route, etc) reported and showed migrants standing in line receiving breakfast being supplied to them via a government agency. The migrants will board busses to bus them further north today moving about 140 miles today. This group is slated to head towards the Texas border, rather than California. Based on recent mileage by the day they will arrive either Monday or Tuesday at the border.
I have to ask who pays for all of this? Free meals, free busses, etc?
Years ago migrants had to walk the distance on their own, wondering how would they pay for meals along the way. Today, not so much. Why wouldn't any migrant make the treck under these circumstances?
This should get really interesting if they arrive at the same time Trump is giving his SOTU speech. Not sure how the democrats will be able to deny this is officially an emergency, but I imagine they will.
No link as to the report, but Griff reports throughout the morning off and on from the caravan if you are interested.

Fox news just reported. Migrants are beong loaded intosemi trucks to go forward. Griff was asked who is paying for this transportation. He states, each Mexican state where the caravan stops supplies the meals and transports to the next stop. So much for the Mexican President who said he would stop them at their southern border Mexican citizens must be so pleased the government supplies services to migrants when they do not supply enough services to their own poor citizens. Evidently they want them out of town as fast as possible. Monday night or Tuesday morning is still the estimated arrival to our border in Texas.

... Not sure how the democrats will be able to deny this is officially an emergency, but I imagine they will. ... It is a small group of people that are being tracked so it is easy to plan for their arrival at the border. What is the emergency?

Could we supply buses and food to pass them through ?
Canada seems a better fit than the immigrant hostile administration in power right now.

It would cost way more to keep them in Mexico. Passing the immigrant buck, so to speak.

You mean, Mexico is paying for this and will not give President Trump one thin dime for a wall?

With regard to Reply #4, Tennesseer: Let's leave religion and Jesus out of the discussion, please. There's no need to use the religious beliefs of others to poke fun. Each to his/her own and what serves their needs best. Thanks. mmhmm, Administrator

They would have to deal with the problem/expense of assimilating those people. <iframe width="29.3800000000001" height="3.04000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_49398199" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 29.38px; height: 3.04px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="29.3800000000001" height="3.04000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_51226423" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1404px; top: -5px; width: 29.38px; height: 3.04px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="29.3800000000001" height="3.04000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_61436299" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 92px; width: 29.38px; height: 3.04px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="29.3800000000001" height="3.04000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_97082754" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1404px; top: 92px; width: 29.38px; height: 3.04px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> Trump should of researched it a little more while campaigning.

I'm assuming these are central American refugees seeing asylum, not Mexicans? I don't watch Fox so I don't know.
If Mexico and the US got along well we could maybe work out a system to create camps along the US border for those seeking asylum. Those who were approved could enter the US and wait for further hearings, those who are denied could be shipped back home.
I have a feeling Mexico isn't really in the mood to do us any favors right now though.

If we said no and enforced it for a change it would stop. But no one really wants it to. Even trump who promised to get rid of the illegals and stop the crap coming in, failed. Of course we know who is to blame for that.

Refusing to hear asylum seekers is against US and international law. By turning refugees back without a hearing this administration is breaking the law. Cheered on by his racist deplorable fan club.

What’s funny is that I live in an area flooded and it’ll continue to be flooded by illegals. Not one of them does roofing, lawn care, road work, all the typical jobs you’d think they’d do. Not even maid or nanny services. Of course maybe this area I live in won’t hire illegals, who knows? I know I wouldn’t but I’ve nevet even seen them around the areas I drive through. The hospital is another story.

Of course we know who is to blame for that. LOL, that is because he is too busy hiring them to do the dirty work at his resorts. Wonder how many "anchor" babies they have had while working for him. How anyone can actually think that he cares about illegal immigration is beyond me. He came up with a catch phrase during his campaign, used it over and over and has worked with his base of voters. He has staked his presidency on it. Shut the government down for a month. Threatened to declare a national emergency. But he hires them!

Last year over 369,000 illegals were picked up by Border Patrol entering the country through non-portal entry points (over the fence jumpers)
Is this a reasonable number to let run loose in the country? Remember we have a catch and release program where none show up for their court date, and yet if apprehended a year or two later somewhere in the states, liberals cry, they have been here too long to send back!

The ones that have been here too long to send back are the dreamers and many illegals that are in their 30's and 40's who have lived here since they were children. They don't know anywhere else but America.
If I had been brought here as a toddler, and now 30 something years later the US tried to send me back to Sweden, I would be lost. I suspect it would be the same for you, if you were sent back to wherever your family immigrated from.
