Heard on the news today that sometime next week bho will officially start his campaigning by letting some commission know about it. Seeing as how the only 2 qualifications for Prez and/or VP is 35 years of age AND a natural born citizen, ALL candidates should be required to present the long form of birth certificate to the commission.
Starting now.

You mean the commission can't require proof of qualifications for our prez and vp? The qualifications are written in the US Constitution.
US Constitution, Article II, Section 1
I think it's time proof should be required.

They have no power to say who can and who can't appear on state ballots.

I don't think he's going to be successful. Over his whole presidency though, I did like that law about TV commercials not being louder than the program they are aired in. That was pretty cool. As far as Unemployment, Libya, etc, goes there are lots of folks who won't think he did a very good job. He's not going to win, and it's possible that the Democratic Party will even run him again (?). They will run him again UNLESS polls are really in the toilet , then he might not want to run, but that's remote. Actually if you stepped back, considering what was on his plate, decisions he has made, he's done ok...I don't know if anyone could have done better. OK, some one wouldn't have pushed through the health intuitive, but the problem would still be with us...different way to solve it, possible or just not addressed it and let it keep going the way it was. Afganistan..think another would have unilaterally just pulled out, a Pub?? You might think so, I don't and possible gone along with the Pentagons wants, open ended, 80,000 troops and more of a commitment. Iraq, thats a finished product, we either go in August or they ask for us to stay in some way. Stimulus's? Ok nothing like that done, and if we had gone into a depression, you guaranteeing we wouldn't? Banking bail out , just let them go down the tubes, same with GE...that would have been better? Not according to all the experts, both sides. The oil blow out? Think that was planned?? I could go on but lets face it , for what ever reasons, Fox, the talking heads, race, his wife , kids...the vegetable garden...some don't want him in the big chair..but I don't see any one on the horizon who would have done better over all job or who had run against him either, especially that. The more I listen to McCain the more depressed and sorry for him I become. Will it get him re elected? To early to tell yet in my estimation, but 2012 coming up sooner then one thinks and if the best the pubs have is what they have been showing, to me, his chances look pretty good. Didn't say a shoe in , but not that bad.

I weep for the $1 billion dollars of (mostly foreign, likely terrorist state) dollars Obama is going to burn through in his bid to extend his regime. Imagine the good that money could do...

Or the evil So ed predicts that President Obama will reduce the trade deficit by about $1 billion dollars, taking the money from people who might otherwise use it to support terrorists. And this would be a bad things because...?

Oh yay, just what we need in times of crisis, wars, and massive debts. More speeches by President Teleprompter. I can hardly contain myself. LOL - and maybe some fake Greek columns

What's weird about the whole "announcement" thing is this: was there ever any doubt President Obama would be running for re-election? I notice that this whole thing has really got the left's legs tingling as if it's this big, exciting news like they just got engaged or something. Of course Obama will be running for re-election.
I will comment that the ad I saw was very good. I think that ad, and ads like it are going to work very well for Obama because it:
1. Does not feature President Obama. It features ordinary people talking and they don't even mention Obama by name, just 2012 starts with us or something.
2. Doesn't contain any substance whatsoever. It seeks to invoke a feeling. You may not like that, but as a marketer I will tell you hands down if you grab people emotionally-- and I mean everyone, even people who will deny being influenced by emotion, flibbidy flab, mumbo jumbo, and gobedly gook-- you can sell them.
3. Goes to number 2, but it's vital- it ignores President Obama's "accomplishments". It doesn't mention "stimulus", "jobs saved", foreign policy, or the crown jewel of Obama's Presidency and Democrat domestic policy in forty years: ObamaCare. It ignores spending, debt, and deficits, the wars, terrorism, spending, all of the major important issues are just flat ignored. They aren't spun, they aren't explained, they aren't glossed over-- they're just not there. Back to "hope" and "change"....
Good luck with that, Mr. Obama. You're gonna need it. It is, however, your only hope. You can't possibly run on your record.

Yes, but will it "save" jobs, or create them? It's really hard to tell.

I would add that based on what I've seen here and elsewhere in the media, Obama seems to still have the dedication of his core of far left adherents (apologists), despite the fact that he has broken virtually every promise he made to them; ending the wars, closing Gitmo, no military trials for terrorists, single payer health care, transparent administration, ending the Bush tax cuts, "post racial" America, everything...I guess they like being treated like one night stands?

Obama the racist is now the worst President in American history. I can only hope that we elect Jeb Bush in 2012 as our next President.

You heard it here first. BHO will win again. The reps have no credible candidates.
