Speaking of gas, yesterday morning regular was $3.99 (and I thought to myself I should fill up but didn't). After work it was $4.17. Unbelievable!!! We are being taken advantage of and the oil companies will have record profits. I know the gas station isn't making big money on it and we have no choice but to pay the price. It just isn't fair and I think by summer we will be paying $5 gallon. I wish I lived closer to work and I would walk or ride a bike. I have a 35 mile round trip. I do try to do my errands on the way to or from work and not make extra trips but gee whiz a person can't be a slave to their own home!!! Thankfully I pass RA and WAGS and Meijer every day. Okay, I vented and guess what, it won't change a thing. LOL ;D
How much is your gas?

I guess we're in for high gas prices at least through the summer. I can't imagine what people are doing who were already struggling and now this. I've never seen the economy in such bad shape.

We're paying $3.65 for regular, hubby bought an 1996 Suzuki Sidekick with cash and we parked his truck to save money. It now cost him $25 to $30 to fill up instead of the $100 plus we were paying.

4.24 - 4.34 depending on the gas station. It went down last week to 4.15, but has gone up again.

We are still under $4 right now, but we are on the "Reach the Beach" (not what we call it here locally) route, so I expect to see it keep going up. I am beginning to liken a gas pump to a really bad proctologist.
Everyone who is parking their larger vehicles- make sure you start them a couple times a week to keep squirrels from stripping the wires and keep the batteries turning over. We are doing the same thing with my DMs SUV- running my little car mostly and parking her SUV, they would rather put gas in my car.

Gas here in OK is 3.74, which makes me really glad we no longer do the paper routes. A week after he stopped the paper route, he was offered a full time job. That takes a lot off my mind since he'll be getting a regular paycheck. Of course, now we have to add in daycare costs, so I'm not sure we'll come out ahead.

Gas is just under $4 here, but is going up now that the "summer additives" will go into it. We have one of the highest pollution rates in the nation. So special gas is needed but this is CRAZY.

I do feel obligated, in a sense, to get these deals - because razors aren't perishable in any way, so I want to take advantage of it. I seem to be stockpiling loads of razors, toothpaste & make-up. But I really don't want to be a big 'ol whiner, because for all I know, there could be no free razors in the future, so I want to get 'em while the gettings' good I hear ya! That's a struggle I have with myself all the time. To shop or not to shop, that is the question. On the one hand, why not stockpile nonperishable items while you can get them free or moneymakers? But on the other hand, how much is too much? Its a problem, but definitely a good problem to have. I had some EB's to "burn" today so I bought the 8 packs of Basic paper towels for $5.99.

Hit the jackpot on Publix coupons this morning!!! We don't purchase the local paper, but it gets delivered for free most Wednesdays because they have to grocery adds in them. Well I open up my free paper this morning, and there were 3 identical Publix inserts (probably just supposed to be one) with the $5 off $30 purchase and they are good for 2 weeks.
Also looking forward to the Crest deals at Rite-Aid next week. I should be able to get 3 papers this Sunday with the P&G inserts. here is what I am planning
3 Crest Toothpaste @$2.99 3 Crest Mouthrinse @4.99 total $18.95 tax $$1.32 minus 3 $1.50 Crest toothpaste coupons in Sunday's paper minus 2 $0.75 Crest mouthwash coupons in Sunday's paper minus $3 of $15 survey coupon Total $11.25, pay with $10 UPs from last week, recieve $10 in UPs total OOP is $1.27

Gas here was 4.35-4.39 on Tue afternoon al over my general travel area.
I have resolved to limit myself to 2 shopping errand days/week when I also visit my Dad. I might give myself 1-2 controlled driving days/week for something really special at the library or whaterver nearby. I am luckey to have a CVS just a couple blocks away and my close (BUT very poorly stocked ) WAG is about 6 blocks so ok in good weather but not winter, rain or really hot & humid.

Thank you for this!!!!!! I figured something would come around to use these q's!!!! ohmom: Even though I am trying to stay out of RA, I might do this deal myself. I will be at my sister's house for Mother's Day and we will be driving right by a RA on our way home. Check the expiration date on the UP because I THINK the UPs deal goes until 5/15, so the UPs should be good for longer than (2) weeks.
