So, you are suggesting the government (we) stop paying for "benefits" for ALL government workers who are no longer active in government? Or are you suggesting it should be a popularity contest?

I am suggesting all former Federal office holders and family members when doing private book tours or political fundraisers spend their own dime and not be on the Federal money trough, especially if you are on the coup de tat group trying to overthrow a legitimate elected office holder. If just living a retired life and on vacation, I have no problem protecting them. The individual states would have to make a decision on their state office holders who still receive state police protection in retirement.

Then how did you feel about Trumps kids traveling to China on business on our dime? Or their vacations skiing? Trumps family security has cost way more then any previous president.

I would be interested in seeing proof of the existence of any such coup. Shit Limbaugh says doesn't count.
Show me the quasi military squads of goons she's assembling, the anti-aircraft guns, black helicopters and drone squads she's purchased and hidden in the foothills of up state New York.
Otherwise, just admit you hate that bitch, but you hate even more that you can't put her on a pike and parade her through town a the source of all evil to rally the masses, because she and her hubbie both are retired and no longer have any political significance.
You need to cast your eye around for some other evil, murdering liberal bitch to pile all your hatred on. Shouldn't be hard, the Dems have way more women than the GOP does. Take your pick.

It gets so old when they keep trotting out poor Hillary as the GOP scapegoat for everything. She's done - she doesn't matter - move on.

Wow, just wow. Wow ? That pretty accurately describes how your posts come across. You may want to go back and read your posts every once in a while and replace HRC with dt or any of your "sweeties du jour" and imagine I wrote those posts. See hether you understand happy's post after you are done. My guess is you wouldn't admit to it, but you would see how accurate her response is

Because the Clintons like the Carters, the Bushes, the Obamas are protected for life unless they opt out by law...The Trumps too will be after they are no longer part of the government... The thing is...there are enough crazies out there, both sides that some are probably more in need of protection then others but actually all Presidents have p off someone...so protection is needed. As far as the extra expenses that Trump costs the government....he should be called out on them... He publicly dissed Obama on his golfing outings/vacations...PROMISED not to do or cost the same...think he took off for Florida a week or so in office and didn't stop but most of Obamas trips were local..granted exclusive golf courses and SS out in force but the Donalds trips to his so called other White House in Florida...plus his other resorts...plus his rallies and the costs...SS won't say how much...but they used up the $ so no more over time pay even though entitled... but in the many millions but for some reason, his base and supporters think these expenses are fine...but not those of his predecessor ...care to explain why? Just curious...

... Hillary still protected by the Secret Service ... Well sorta: Hillary Clinton was seemingly unharmed when the Secret Service vehicle she was riding in was involved in a crash. link EDIT: story was posted in the same hour as this thread was started By The Associated Press 4 hrs ago. Coincidence?
EDITED AGAIN: Whoops, how did I miss that Value Buy had linked to the crash article in the OP. Brain fart on my part. Sorry about that.

To campaign against a political person is over throwing them? A coup de tat group? To much for me and any right thinking person...either from the left or right....LOL...….. ….. ….. ….. ….

Dude, one party losing power due to a freely held, regularly scheduled election is definitely not a coup. Calling it one makes you sound like a snowflake, and a very special one at that.

This year I have a history of going away for a few days at a time, but I do not publicly say, "I will be baaack" as in the Arnold I will say to you, I am gone for a couple of days now as traveling.......... Now will wait to see who will go back and challenge me on not being here for a few days at a time. And sometimes I simply do not respond to people calling me Dude. Like you, I have a name here. It is not Dude. I usually just chock it up to the person doing it, and move on.

Actually I have the same feeling regarding the term "Dude" and when I brought it up as a unnecessary diss...was chastised by a unnamed moderator that the term is perfectly appropriate..I was wrong for complaining about it..I apologize to useing the term here regarding u.....just having fun.. As far as traveling...good, enjoy, do it safely...look forward to having u back and contributing. Not sure why anyone would criticize u for being absent from here..if so..f em...

First off ...poor the lady aint….unless u believe $45 million is just pocket change.. ------------------- www.celebritynetworth.com/richest-politicians/democrats/hillary-clinton-net-worth/-------------------- True , she is in retirement but she has had a fulfilling life with great achievements'. Granted she lost her last battle and there are folks, many here on this board, who still will say we , the country, the world, is better off that she did not win in 2016. Simply stated...they are f wrong. [ Has there been one day of just easy living since that swearing in? Just one?] "And that too shall pass "....is my mantra regarding this crap shoot we are going through right now...mid terms should be interesting..... They have been sniping at her for over 30 years and have come up with squat...I believe they will still be after her long after she is no longer with us...hope she is enjoying her grand kids and retirement and I see she is back on the speaking tour and many folks are paying to see and hear her...not bad for a old has been...

The far right will have to find another scary bogeyman to frighten the children with, Hillary's toast.

Do not tell it to me. Tell it to your fellow Democrats and to Hillary Clinton. Now that Sparticus (since he named himself Sparticus, this should be ok to use) and Warren are now marginalized candidates for 2020, this leads it wide open for Hillary in 2020. All she needs is something to "accidently" happen to Biden.........

Hilary Clinton is not going to run again. She's already lost twice now. You're going to have to find another democrat to scare the GOP base with.
