I think she's focusing on something different. For all we know, one of the men told a tasteless joke dissing a woman and she chose to ignore it and look somewhere forward. She's also making herself small as Thomas is too large for his seat and is encroaching on her space.

<chuckle> I'm not the least bit worried about RBG's mental state. That woman is sharp as a tack. I have no doubt she could take on a debate with anybody on these boards and leave 'em in the dust. Not everyone loses their intellectual power with age. I've got huge respect for her even when I don't agree with her stance on any given issue.

The day in July 2004 my siblings and I moved our parents into an assisted living facility in South Carolina, their room temps were set at 72 degrees. At the time they were 80 years old. They asked to have the room temp moved up to 82-84 degrees as they were cold.

The residents of the facilities where my parents stayed were walking in the inside hallways wearing jackets. To them, 72 degrees was cold.

I don't have enough resolution to tell much, but to me it seemed obvious they were gloves. Looked grayish with a blue tinge on my computer, but I didn't care enough to find out more.
