I think we can safely predict the conservative response should the FBI turn up substiantion....
They will attack the FBI as being biased.....

I also think the amount of information the FBI turns up will likely be limited as they are being deliberately hamstrung.

If Republican Senators waffle on support for Kavanaugh's nomination, the most important judgment will be rendered by Donald Trump. Gabriel Sherman of Vanity Fair tweeted, "The crying has unnerved some White House aides, source says. 'People don't know why he is crying.'"

For Trump, who would seemingly rather risk a man keeling over from a heart attack than indulging his feelings, the display was likely an exasperating development. "When I see a man cry I view it as a weakness," Trump once told writer Timothy O'Brien. "I don't like seeing men cry."

I agree with whoever it was said that trump hates losers.  If he thinks Kava won't have enough votes, he'll claim McConnell pushed Kava against his (trump's) wishes... When the exact opposite is true.

And that was 12 years ago....

The group’s judicial investigator had recently interviewed dozens of lawyers, judges and others who had worked with Kavanaugh, the ABA announced at the time, and some of them raised red flags about “his professional experience and the question of his freedom from bias and open-mindedness.”

“One interviewee remained concerned about the nominee’s ability to be balanced and fair should he assume a federal judgeship,” the ABA committee chairman wrote to senators in 2006. “Another interviewee echoed essentially the same thoughts: ‘(He is) immovable and very stubborn and frustrating to deal with on some issues.’”

A particular judge had told the ABA that Kavanaugh had been “sanctimonious” during an oral argument in court. Several lawyers considered him inexperienced, and one said he “dissembled” in the courtroom."

After his performance yesterday, screaming at the Democrats about the "left", there is no doubt that he is not capable of being fair and impartial.  I think his partisanship is one of the reasons they are pushing him so hard.

I don't know if he did it or not, but I thought he acted like an immature, unreliable person this week. I was not impressed him, and I hope he doesn't get confirmed for that reason alone.

That's how I see it, thyme. What I saw was not the demeanor of a Supreme Court justice. If he can't control his emotions any better than that when under pressure, he's not temperamentally suited to that position,  IMO.
