Nothing's wrong with Montana.  It's a very nice place.  It has a population of a little more than 1 million people (the US population is 325million (I live in a metropolitan area with about 6 million people).  It's largest industries are Agriculture, travel/tourism, timber and mining.   Montana wasn't much effected by the Great Recession.  Montana is reliably Republican.  Montana has 3 Electoral votes.    Montana has the highest suicide rates in America.   (This week is Suicide prevention week... so of course Montana came up.)
