I think Trump is a dumpster fire, but I can't watch CNN anymore. Agreed on both points. I liken it to the stations covering the PGA while Tiger Woods was in his prime. The "Tiger Woods 24/7 Show". I became so incredibly sick of hearing about the man (by no fault of his own, but nevertheless) that I simply could not watch golf during those years. And that was positive coverage, not 24/7 bile and vitriol, which is even more toxic. If CNN's ratings are up (I have no idea) because that's the entertainment Americans crave, I weep for your country. I shudder to think what a steady diet of that stuff does to the human mind.

It is the other side of the Fox coin. They invented hate and anger based programming disguised as news. CNN is using the same formula, but is anti-Trump as opposed to anti-Obama.

I'll take your word for it. The only thing I ever see of FOX is 2-5 minute video clips like those Paul posts. It was the same during Pres. Obama's tenure.

It was the 20 minutes of analysis and footage of Mr. Woods walking, drinking, walking, talking with his caddy, looking at his score card, walking, scratching his can, ... between every stroke and the next that I couldn't stand. Currently they jump from player to player in a PGA tournament, following the top 6-10 contenders as well as showing highlights from other players. There's some downtime, but you're mostly watching actual golf. The same was true before the Tiger Woods era. During the Woods era, it was as though no other players existed. You'd get sparing footage of the hundred other players in any given tournament, if any at all. Every broadcast was locked on Mr. Woods, including during the 98% of the time he wasn't swinging or putting. During the brief reprieves when the cameras turned to another player actually doing something, the commentators would be droning over the whole thing with more Tiger Woods analysis. It was flat-out unwatchable. Not unlike CNN today, and possibly FOX during Pres. Obama's tenure. Mr. Woods was a phenomenal golfer, but no amount of skill could make it worth sitting through one of those broadcasts.

For me...since the problems of his playing..Tigers...and I was a very , very active golfer over the years...handicap [best] 13....I stopped watching...[the other week when he participated and while not really competitive but still showed some good stuff...first weekend watched again in a long time...I believe I am not alone there and yup...playing in the back ground...quietly...CNN is playing, very watchable... Interesting being reported right now is the indictment of 13 Russians for interference in our last Presidential election, Mullers indictment. ......Is "Fox" reporting this now?... www.yahoo.com/gma/special-counsel-indicts-13-russian-nationals-russia-investigation-182203834--abc-news-topstories.html
