Look! A National Enquirer thread! This is new since I took a hiatus!
She may not have much of a education and full command of the English language, but at least she isn't a rabid, spitting hypocrite who goes around marching with a vagina on her head, pretending to support other women. She's shown more class than anyone else in this administration and in most of the opposition. I wish her well.
I thought the Clintons looked like they were disgusted with one another and that the minute he left office, they'd split. They surprised me. Maybe the Trumps will, too. Who knows? And by the way, I think she's beautiful. But then, I thought Mrs. Clinton always looked nice and well put together, too, and people made fun of her all the time.
That's the part that cracks me up.

Many Republicans held Hillary responsible for Bill's cheating. Even in the election, it was brought up. So when do we start holding Melania responsible for trump's? Or does that double standard stick its ugly head out again? Lying about a blow job was impeachable, paying off a porn star & lying about it gets a "pass" (according to religious leaders). For the record, no I don't believe Hillary was responsible. But the hypocrisy is blatant & bullshit. I don't know anyone that thought Hillary was responsible for bill's cheating. I do question a strong, feminist woman who chooses to stay with a cheating asshole. I thought for sure that Hillary would have left once they left the WH. I was disappointed that she didn't. Just like I will be disappointed if Melania doesn't leave him once they are out of the WH. But no one is responsible for their spouses cheating.
I also have the ability to separate someone's private life from their job. I don't vote for a president because he is a good husband. That is between him and his wife.

It was noticeable from the moment they arrived at the White House. And the video backs it up. Starting at the 4:36 minute marker: Difference between a classy couple and a A hole who has never heard the word "class.."..........and all because of some f e mails , a server..[ anyone, what the hell is a server?]...and Bengazi.... A server is a computer (or software) that provides resources, or services, to other devices or programs, Dezi.

I also think she is beautiful. I was surprised by GG's comments, but I tend to watch MSNBC or CNN, so I haven't listened to a lot of Melania's speeches. I know she has a thick accent, but I did not find her impossible to understand. I know she did not graduate from college, but that is not the only way to accumulate knowledge. I talk to people on a daily basis with accents though, it just forces you to listen to what they are saying.
I have noticed that even when DT is spouting off like an idiot, Melania seems to say something graceful/sensible/sympathetic ie. appropriate!
I just don't have it in me to wish her bad just b/c she married him. I get that she may be steaming mad, but boy is she between a rock and a hard place - can you imagine how Barron feels about all this? And he is a teenager - those difficult emotional years...and the peer pressure.
I also don't think she will leave him while he is in office, but I do think his family deserves our respect.

I'm not so sure she could. This is a woman who has no education, no marketable skills and whose physical "capital" declines with every year. Getting a job as a model when you are in your 40's isn't a piece of cake. Her "career experience" consisted of modeling then becoming a trophy wife. Maybe she could write a "tell all" book, but her prenup probably prohibits that. Her English is difficult to understand, so scratch the lecture circuit idea. There are plenty of women who stayed home, never got a college degree or got a degree and haven't worked in many, many years. Would you tell them that they should stay with someone that mistreats them?
Even though you think her physical capital declines every year, I'm pretty sure there are plenty of men out there who still thinks she is stunning.
I never said she SHOULD. Please tell me where you got that! I did point out that she did not have a lot of career options given her lack of education & skills. She is different, however, from many other women who stayed at home in that she will probably have a comfortable divorce settlement when she gets dumped for a younger trophy wife.

I actually wasn't surprised by her comments. I have taken note of a few liberal "feminists" who are all about women unless the women are conservative or they disagree with them. Then the catty claws come out.
I agree with everything you said. I seriously can't imagine being Melania. She didn't sign up for this when she married him. I would never want to be under the world's eye like she is...add to the fact how much the left wants to attack her and I really wouldn't want to be her.

She was someone before Trump. She will be someone after Trump and get child support. Not sure how expensive a life she needs, but should do well.

I don’t respect bullies. And I don’t respect spouses who defend their bullying spouses. Respect is earned. It’s not a right. I don’t wish her ill. I simply don’t care that she is being publically humiliated by a serially cheating spouse; after all she cheated with him while he was still married to wife #2 so she knew what she was marrying. I never said she wasn’t beautiful. I did say that her physical “capital” declines each year. Her own husband said women had a shelf life of about 35 years and she is beyond that. After she is dumped for a younger trophy wife, I’m sure she’ll have no problem finding another old rich man.

Oh please! She knew she was marrying a self absorbed womanizer. She also knew she was marrying a serial cheater since she cheated with him while he was still married to wife #2. Maybe she didn’t sign up for being first lady, but she COULD have told him “No”, Trophy wives don’t get to say that though. I don’t feel sorry for her. I don’t dislike her. Just “Meh”

THeres pictures of Obama’s looking less than thrilled with each other as well as the Clinton’s. All spouses can be caught off guard for photos especially by those looking to snipe. I wouldn’t want to be married to any of them. I wouldn’t want to have to be on constant guard against the cattiness and sniping. Melanias poker face serves her well. My eyes would roll so much I could see behind me.

Miss T. I disagree with u regarding whether Hillery should have or shouldn't have...that is her business... Possible you..if a spouse cheats , are out of there...1/2/3....Gone. Fine that's your business...your decision....your call. For others, it may be a different story....their call. Many reasons...real love for the person...a closeness, a fulfillness...who knows..but whatever...their business. Not saying so in this case but there are relationships where the sexual act ..whichever one..is not a life or death experience...not for u possible ...but others? Their business.... I personally think as much as the act itself...the personal embarrassment was as hurtful for her...but again...don't know and as far as should she stay or not...her business..He gets no say..her decision 100% unless he wants out and it didn't seem to be the case.

For the record, no I don't believe Hillary was responsible. But the hypocrisy is blatant & bullshit. I actually was thinking about Trump and the Religious leaders [Continued] support the other day. I don't get it. They are complicit in destroying the moral fabric of America. What we expect of our Politicians will never be the same. Maybe that is ok - public vs. private was not = before. But we knew the politicians were hypocrites, now we know the religious leaders are too. I still have faith in God, but my conviction that Churches don't have all the answers, and we should not follow their leaders blindly is stronger than ever.
I also thought Hillary would leave Bill when Chelsea was an adult. I do think they had shared interests and goals though outside of their relationship, so that they rebuilt their relationship is fine with me. People don't have to conform to what I think a relationship should be. I am fine staying out of their business. I was very angry that bill Lied under oath. I thought he should have been impeached. I am glad I don't have to sit in judgment on the other sexual accusations. It was not Hillary's fault, and she was not responsible for fixing it or controlling Bill. If Trump did anything wrong in paying off the porn star (ie. used campaign funds) I hope they find the evidence and deal with it appropriately. I don't think the Porn Star is the only Skeleton in Trump's closet though.

Regarding relationships...came across the following on You tube...just finished watching it...Obamas last white house dinner presentation of Obama addressing all...that was one Trump didn't attend..some good humor...at the end his feelings on the media, press...very refreshing and so different then our new leaders...complete difference..night and day..black / white...ying /yang..it's about 22 minutes...
Actually for most here...very refreshing, especially as it gets us away from the soap opera abomination we are exposed to , it seems every day..refreshing to watch and listen to someone who can actually speak and put more then two sentences together and not keep patting one self on the back with every other utterance of theirs...

I don't care what the state of their relationship is. It's their business. however with a big "BUT" attached: since BCs affairs were held (with plenty of repetition and vigor) against HRC during the receent presidential election - hell even the affair of the husband of her aide was held against her, this situation is fair game as well.
The sad thing, and this is all on dt, is that he has a 10 yo son (or maybe he is 11 by now) who gets to "read all about it". He is the only one I feel for in this situation

We can only speculate about what happens behind closed doors, and I am not so pompous to believe that my values about marriage or divorce are superior to anyone else's. It is not my business to decide what other people do is wrong based only on my own beliefs. People marry for different reasons but loving each other is not necessarily a given component, and wealthy people who want to protect their assets usually insist on a pre-nuptial agreement.

Conservatives in 1998 " Shame on him for cheating! Shame on Hillary for not leaving him!. He should be impeached"!!
Conservatives in 2018. "The marriage of Donald and Melania is their business. Everyone should shut up already".
Have conservatives evolved? Or are they just hypocrites?

Is there anyone here who thinks Trump cares about anyone but himself?

Guess we define "class" differently. I don't think having one's nude photos out on the internet especially "classy". I dont' regard lying about one's education "classy". I don't consider plagarizing as "classy". I don't consider being a trophy wife as particularly "classy". And I don't consider defending bullying "classy". Guess we just have different definitions of what "class" actually means.

Is she defending him? She is just silently by his side. I don’t really have expectations for her as presidential spouse. She was pulled into this position by her husband’s aspirations. She is the Mother of a teenager, and when I said she deserves our respect, I was thinking along the lines of, her job is to help Barron get through HS and launched off to college without letting the Circus their lives have become pull him under. President Trump is fair game, but if Melania is not acting in a political way, I think we should treat her respectfully. Meaning with politeness, civility, etc. You don’t have to sing her praises, but kind of stick to the old “If you don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all”. Jmo
