Home made chicken and noodles with steamed cauliflower with cheese sauce.
The noodles were good, the cauliflower was just ok.

Last night DH smoked a pork tenderloin. It was so good! Bought on sale for $8 a few months ago
Tonight: Leftover bacon wrapped venison backstrap. $0.00 DH harvested
Tues: Leftover pork tenderloin. $0.00
Wed: More leftovers? $0.00
Thurs and Fri: Out on business. $?
Sat: Restaurant? I think I'll let DH buy/

Monday night we went out. Long day taking MIL to visit her brother. DH paid I have no idea what the damage was.
Tuesday something with chicken. Decided on Sally's Baking Addiction pineapple teriyaki chicken. We have some fresh pineapple in the fridge that needs used or tossed. Rice and broccoli on the side.
Wednesday spaghetti.
Thursday black bean pulled chicken.
Friday no clue. I'm working at home so we'll see what looks good.

I didn't buy much this weekend for groceries, want to really get to clearing out the freezer. I only did one "big cook" for the week, a pot of minestrone soup, which I'll pick from over the week. it was lunch yesterday and will be again today. there's still some thin-sliced BSCB in the fridge from last week (uncooked) that may still be good. I didn't get to it, and I won't be incorporating roommate into planning anymore. I could have frozen more, rather than prepping as much as I did for the week. lesson learned. Monday dinner - pesto turkey sandwich with chips Tuesday - something with chicken if it's still good. roasted veggies? pesto pasta? Wednesday - no clue. have an interview in town, but early. may do an elaborate recipe with all the time, not sure what. Thursday, Friday - haven't thought that far ahead yet

I think tonight will be grilled fish (in the air fryer), roasted delicata squash (air fryer), roasted carrots (air fryer), and probably some cooked spinach/chard/kale. I will make the squash and the carrots this afternoon ~ and the fish right before eating.

chicken was still good. I sauteed one cutlet and cut that up to toss with spinach ravioli and pesto. that works.

I want one I know I can cook fresh foods in - not planning on doing onion rings or such just veggies and seafood. TYIA

Supper is going to be wrap or two. Ultra-thin Indian roti flatbread, filled with sliced chicken breast, cucumbers, green onion, avocado and Hoisin sauce.
Kiwi fruit for dessert.

I made herb butter chicken, brown rice, broccoli and garlic cheese biscuits last night. Dinner tonight will be leftovers if I'm hungry. I had a huge salad at 2:00 today. We'll see.

We also use it to grill/roast beef, pork, chicken and seafood (I've done shrimp, tilapia, langostino and salmon).

LUNCH VEGGIES: spinach, pea pods, carrots, tomatoes, golden beets. (also had a turkey and hummus on wheat sammy)
DINNER VEGGIES: kidney beans, pinto beans, black beans, garlic, onion, tomatoes, chiles, corn.
I am making "7-can soup" in the crockpot, with some additions: chopped red onion, a ton of garlic, and some ground beef. Otherwise, it's a can each of the beans, diced tomatoes, then a can of Rotel tomatoes+chili and fiesta corn. And some cheese for creaminess (I went with Velveeta since it melts so nicely). I had a cup to taste ... yum! We should get about 8 servings out of it.
This is the first time we've had this soup and it's great (my wonderful DH had some at lunch, already ... then left for work! He noted that the onions were still crunchy and I noted that the soup wasn't DONE yet, lol!)

I took a store-bought paper-thin pizza crust, spread ricotta and pesto, layered a bunch of thin-sliced veggies that needed to be used up, then some mozzarella. added a cut-up slice of prosciutto after baking. while it was baking, I pitched the last two slices of pizza from Sunday at the dive bar.

Had filets for hubs and DD with salad and baked potatoes. I had a t bone with the same. I don't have them but maybe once a month. I cooked them on the grill, man was it cold out there, brrrr! But they taste better. Awfully expensive though. I made a pecan pie, make them about once a year, just to many calories.
Tomorrow we are going to the community dinner. I'm taking baked beans, deviled eggs, and maybe a cake.
Dinner tomorrow evening may be ham sandwiches and slaw or mac and cheese or something, not sure what with it yet.

Tomorrow (Saturday) my wonderful DH will be flying in support of the Butte County #CampFire, so I will be on my own for dinner. I'm thinking about rummaging around the freezer and then having some veggies that I know are in the fridge. I may just have tuna or something simple, too.

I buy smoked salmon belly, which is cheaper than regular smoked salmon. Belly is the best-kept secret of chefs everywhere.... LOADED with Omega3 vitamins because of the higher fat content. Also more flavour. It's about $10 a pound at kosher delis.

<burp> this one's going to leave a mark. we were both hangry when we got here, that never ends well. in addition to the pics, we also got an appetizer of sliced yellowtail and jalapeno, and M partook of the amuse bouche at the sushi bar where we sat - spicy crab salad. this tab might be a little obscene. oops.
