DEPO: broke out yesterday on FDA approval of one their drugs, still see a lot of upside for this company in general, they have several other candidates coming up and one in particular for hot flashes looks really promising.

How's everyone doing? I haven't been on here in a while. I've been busy, but I'm sure glad to see the DOW progressing.

Hi one, I was letting this thread die out I think you and me are the only ones that followed over here and with no influx of new ideas it gets stale. I think that might be the problem with this whole community no new blood. any way I still am making decent money on the pennies and am always looking for ideas. you got any?

I see, it's the same as the other board. I've also been very busy to post. Anyway, I'm just keeping my eye on RVXCF for pennies and I'm thinking of playing some options for AKAM. I'll still check in here from time to time. See you around gambler.

Can anyone give some insight on APRO....I bought in at .01 quite awhile back and watched it drop to as low as 0.001. Now within a couple of days its back to 0.01. Today it doubled value. I can't find any reason why..... any thoughts or insights?

No news. Maybe just a MM manuver to stir up some interest. No insider activity indicated.

I recently opened a small postion in OOIL.
"OriginOil, Inc., a development stage company, focuses on developing a technology to produce biofuel from algae to replace petroleum in various applications, such as diesel, gasoline, jet fuel, plastics, and solvents"
I got in at about $0.20 yesterday and its at $0.22 today. It's been anywhere between $0.11 and $0.35 over the last year. Really, this is just a big speculation play for me hoping that they will be one of the leaders in the algae to fuel process. It would be nice if we could get our fuel from something other than food sources (corn/soybeans). Right now, the process is still quite expensive, but it seems as though they are making progress towards making it affordable.

I was just looking at ooil think i will get a few shares. i was reading an article that basically said the Saudi had reached peak oil or will in 2012 and after that oil out put would decrease rapidly. a different article pointed out that corn would not be able to produce enough to compensate for the decrease in out put. on another note I am also looking at ADXS it is a bio tech that is currently testing a cancer drug

GSI P/E NA PEG NA Price/Revenue 0.06 Price/Cash Flow 3.50 Price/Book (MRQ) 1.18 ROA -0.49% ROE -7.97% Current Ratio (MRQ) 0.70 Total Debt/Equity (MRQ) 9.80 NOTE: MRQ - Most Recent Quarter
Fundamentally it's awful. No profit, and look at that debt level. Some technical indicators do look like it's over-sold, but there is no fundamental reason to justify a move upward. This company is worth the liquidation value of whatever its plant and equipment would sell for plus any accounts receivable they are likely to collect, minus their accounts payable. I'm not going to look all that up (assuming the info is even available and truly reported) -- whatever their plant and equipment would cost to replace, that has to be discounted pretty heavily to reflect the fact that they don't seem able to generate a positive return on investment. But hey, it's your money, go ahead -- it might bounce -- stranger things happen every day!

I do not know if any looks at this thread any more but if you do you might take a look at FCSC for a quick flip. they have a FDA approval/disapproval date of 06/20/2011 and while it looks like their candidate should be approved there should be a run up to that date. currently at 1.17

I'm still being patient with ADXS. It helds its ground pretty well today during DNDN falling apart and the whole market crash thing. Hopefully, it will take off in November when Phase II results come in.

might be worth throwing a few K at: IntelGenx Technologies Corp. (IGXT.OB) is currently awaiting approval of its new drug, CPI-300. CPI-300 is a novel, high strength dosage of Bupropion Hydrochloride (HCl), the active ingredient in Wellbutrin XL®. Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. (VRX), the current manufacturer of Wellbutrin XL®, has been unable to successfully develop a single dose 450mg (must take multiples of lower strengths). IntelGenx Technologies Corp., however, has found success in producing this higher dosage with the help of its VersaTab technology, a cutting edge, multilayer, controlled-release tablet. IntelGenx Technologies Corp. is expecting approval of its CPI-300 tablet on the FDA decision date, November 13, 2011.

I put this stock up here a few weeks ago looking good: Curis, Inc. (CRIS, Trade ), a drug development company seeking to develop next generation targeted small molecule drug candidates for cancer treatment, today announced that its collaborator Genentech, a member of the Roche Group, has submitted a New Drug Application (NDA) to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) seeking sales and marketing approval for vismodegib (GDC-0449, RG3616) to treat people with advanced basal cell carcinoma (BCC), which includes metastatic and locally advanced BCC for whom surgery is inappropriate

it might be time to revisit DRYS. it is a cylindrical stock that appears to be on an up swing. but do not hold it too long because it will come back down

CRIS: presentation for their drug candidate was good, said they were going to file with FDA first 1/2 of 2012, you might look at it for a long

ADXS is looking better and better at .14 it is still cheap and looks like it might be a home run."The primary endpoint is overall survival, and although early in the trial, clinical responses have been seen alone or in combination with chemotherapy and have included 1 complete response and 3 partial responses with >60% reduction in tumor burden among 31 patients scanned". while it is from their web site it still is impressive

I'm still in ADXS. I was disappointed we didn't get any movement upwards (and instead went down today) with the results. I'll be holding it for sure through the end of January when the rest of the results come out.

gambler, what happened to all the other folks that used to post on the old penny stock boards...do you know? One's handle was "nickle" something or other and at least 2 or 3 other regulars. And I think there was one gal that was there quite a bit too???

Thanks for getting back to me! Goldennickle...that's right. I used to enjoy all their banter and odd ball things they came up with.
