An unreliable source says Tennesseer is on the spot down there, backing the building of the Mosque.
As he should be.

I did send you one PM back on 2/12 a long time ago..just a simple one, --------------------------------------------
"sorry..never looked at your profile..your really not a attorney are you? ", ----------------------------------------------------------
Just a question, innocent really, can't remember why I sent it to you, in fact forgot I did till you brought it up, don't recall a answer, so I guess you didn't, no biggie. I have a lot of PM's , as I told you , I like the feature, I get them most days and send out a few.
I don't , but to rehash my post to you in response to yours to me, I think it says it all.
As far as the question, wait one, will get it for you.
Here ya go, it was on your Thread that you put up. ---------------------------------------------------
Yesterday at 7:24pm, burnsattornincan wrote:Ms. moonbeam, I commend your attempts to hire on another moderator of conservative persuasion. This thread I created more or less out of frustration having been subjected to an all liberal moderation for the better part of this forum's life. It hasn't been totally ridiculous but it would be hard to deny that conservatives have been given the short end of the stick. /Dalton
How so?
Point is a moderator is like a eunuch, Sorry there Tenn, nothing personal meant. as they, no interest in this case of the political stands taken by posters, they , eunuch , in that case interest in members of the opposite sex, which has been done.
Just the keeping order when topics get out of hand, go off on tangents way beyond the subject which is under discussion, and a lot of leeway has been given there in my opinion, just read some of the threads here, start at subject A and end up at Z, let posters know when violations of C of c is being done, heads up, and that has been done,, either publicly or privately, and only when pushed to the wall, a short time out on some are enacted , and we have few of those, so where specifically are you having problems, possible I and a few others are missing something, since you seem to think it's the biggest problem here and continuously bring it up. --------------------------------------------------------------
I don't know why your bringing up the Mosque in Tennessee and why people are demonstrating against it . If it's a hugh one as you say, then there must be a large congregation of Muslims there and I guess there is a need for a Mosque for their worship. They Pray five times a day you know.
It's a freedom thing we have here in America, thought you had it in Canada too, in fact I know you do as I visited the Cathedral in Montreal, magnificent structure, not my religion but I remember it as very impressive, up high if I remember it actually overlooking the city I believe, been a long time ago.
I wonder if that demonstration was at a city , I think it was on the news , about a bit over 100,000 people population and something like a little over 100 churches of all kinds there. Very religious folk there so I wonder what the big fuss is.
Possible some one should tell them, we guarantee the right to worship how we want in this neat country of ours. It's of those things I went to War for as a young nut back in the day, or so they told us when I was going through my basic training. They had these meetings to educate the young troops as to why we are in the service, how proud we should be, what we stand for and the reason, usually given by a young officer, though I think I remember a Captain giving one, usually a chaplain too, before they sent us on for more advanced training and then took that long air ride East. Yep, freedom to worship as we care too, all types , everyone to his or her choice, and nothing to do with the state, country. Just one of many of those lectures , but I remember that one Burns.

I'm curious as to how the poster who, until about ten days ago, put the most vile and lurid comments up when almost anybody disagreed with him can now repeatedly nag another poster to disclose personal information. I thought that was a banning offense. I thought if someone volunteered anything about themselves it could be discussed as long as it was within the bounds of what was disclosed by the individual. But to continually nag somebody about personal information has suddenly been made the law of the land I guess. Kinda like calling another poster a whore now seems to be just normal posting. I think it is more like trolling. Even close to stalking might be a more correct view.
Stalking is like when a question doesn't get answered and you see the poster on line on another thread and remind him of the question that is hanging on the other thread. Seems to me we may have a little of that going on here, too.
Wonder if any mods have anything to say about it. One sure did a few days ago.

" Stalking is like when a question doesn't get answered and you see the poster on line on another thread and remind him of the question that is hanging on the other thread. Seems to me we may have a little of that going on here, too." -------------------------------------------- Think your referring to me, and first something vile, mind telling me what you are referring to? As far as bringing something up from another thread , it was in rsponse to a question put to me here, that also brought up something that had nothing to do with the topic of the thread, had nothing to do with the one who brought it up, believe it's the second time he has done so, uit was something between me and another poster, a mistake on a sent PM, which I apologized for and got a "no problem " response so it was a closed item, yet back this one comes with it, even though again, nothing to do with him, just stirring the pot as he usually does , thus my response and the question, not stalking , just asking as part of what he brought up. So k? {Suggest, if you really have a problem with that, why not PM the proper person, have em look into it}

Thanks for your input Mr. Henry Clay but it really isn't a big deal to me. Nothing is except for when I get my posts deleted for no huge reason or getting banned for the same. I also have a disdain for constant subtle messages about certain poster's conduct and suggestions about what to do with them and as far as the PM's go, well we can only guess what goes back and forth between moderators and posters whom are apparently their good friends. It seems there are some who advise via PM when they see a post they do not agree with. I wonder if that is proper conduct here. I don't think it is really.

Ok, thank you for the clarification Mr. deminmaine. Hopefully we can co-exist reasonably well for the foreseeable future. As I understand it, I am on my last strike. I will do my best but I have some serious responding to do concerning the mention of the Tennessee Mosque on the other thread. I have some business to attend to but you might want to keep your eye on it and let me know quickly if I'm getting too frank so I can adjust appropriately.
Warmest regards,
Dalton McGuinty Burns III

Burns just because a post gets reported does not mean it will be deleted. That depends upon the contents of the post. You would actually be quite surprised at who reports posts with great frequency. The petty squabbles need to stop. Maine is in a battle royal, of sorts with Pennsylvania and Dem has much more important things to worry about..... Maine creams Pa. in giant whoopie pie battle

LOL FL Yankee. That is causing a rucus up here, as in - don't they have anything more important to do? There's even a bill about it in the legislature. Sheesh. Stealing the Whoopie Pie from the Amish and trying to claim it as your own official state snack cake up there. Maine-iacs...have you no shame?

I would only be surprised to learn of the liberal ones, since most times when a conservative reports a post, it gets publicly outed on the board...

Apparently we don't FL, apparently we don't. I don't even like whoopie pies. If we were going to have a state pie, snack, or whatever they're pushing it as it wouldn't be that! Y'all even made the wiki whoopie page. How sad......

Pennsylvanians upset over Maine's claim to Whoopie Pie creation The controversy is stirring the Whoopie Pie potwww.fox43.com/news/wpmt-amnews-whoopie-pie,0,1538472.story Yeah, Governor LePage is mustering the National Guard- well what is still left of it state side. This is probably going to mean war between us and PA. Pennsylvania is a much larger state and will doubtless whip our tails terribly, but Whoopie pies are simply worth fighting and dying for! Do you think the other Eastern and New England states will allow the PA Air Force to enter their airspace to carpet bomb you with whoopie pies or do you think they'll have to come in over Canada? Of course we're talking PA here...they probably think Portland is still your state capital and concentrate all their firepower there.

I believe I've convinced them that Maine is still legally part of Massachusetts, and thus they will be carpet bombing Boston. That's the plan anyway. of course, they were probably planning to anyway after the Bruins/Flyers game the other night...

Good luck with that Dem...and keep your squirrel rifle clean in case they call up the Maine Militia. IMHO, Maine should let PA have the whoopie pie and just stick with Lobstas.

Maine is also noted for producing awesome "Whoopie Cushions" and are highly rated which means they are tough to detect from the "Real Thing" way to go Demi for (1) Whoopie Pies, and (2) Whoopie Cushions..

Don't forget Maine's reputation as home to the summertime Canuckibird migratory pattern. Eh?

I always thought whoopie pies started in New Hampshire.
