GDP growth means squat when it's inflation-indexed to a core CPI of 0.2%. You'd better hope that home prices continue to crash hot and heavy, otherwise core CPI suddenly jumps to 12% to track real inflation and you've got a GDP read of -8% on your hands.

Regrettably, VL has decided to move on to Duff's board. I haven't had any correspondence with Decoy since he left on Friday afternoon. It's possible that he's also taken his leave.

That leaves... me, I guess... in the bear camp.

I'd appreciate it if contributors didn't publicly 'celebrate' VL's and Decoy's exodus, no matter what our personal feelings about them are/were. I think most of us would agree that although their views weren't particularly popular, VL and Decoy were an important part of the community. They shouldn't be mocked or condemned in absentia.

I didnt agree with a lot of what they had to say.....but i like to hear the other side just to keep me on my toes
