In the last few days, I've seen several references made regarding whichever man has upset people that minute. They are usually related to the size of his genitalia. He must have a small dick, he's short, whatever...supposedly meaning that his aggression (or whatever the current complaint is) is some sort of compensation for being "small" in other areas. Mostly, stuff like this is said by women.
I think they are just hormonal right now. Normally, women don't act this way, but that PMS can make ya crazy!
The end.

I never understood why anyone was worried about the size of a man's equipment. Frankly, it is the finesse of the operator, not the size of the machine, that really matters.

Frankly, it is the finesse of the operator, not the size of the machine, that really matters. there are some cases in which no amount of finesse can make up for what isn't there. Ask me how I know (but really don't because I am trying to forget that experience).

It's not the size of the ship but how you bring it into port.

Usually I only throw out a "quarter inch" comment to a man when he's harped on women being irrational due to "hormones" or some other euphemism for it. I'll give a guy ONE such personal attack (it's so ingrained in our culture to resort to that, that I assume the guy is just on auto pilot and isn't thinking clearly)- but the second one you throw at me (or another woman or group of women) he better be prepared to protect his Little Man.
I HATE double standards - so if guys throw personal attacks at me - based on my genitalia/normal body functions to DEMEAN me/women then I'm more than happy to point out the failings of their genitalia/normal body functions.
FWIW: it seems to me that the alt-right (and all it's members) are just a tiny bit misogynistic. They tend to resort to putting down women and putting down men by calling them 'women' fairly quickly any time they attack (they call it debate - but it's an attack). So, I'm not surprised that the opposition to the alt-right just went straight to using sexually demeaning words on their opponents.
ADDED: men have a whole vocabulary for demeaning women... what ways/words do women have to demean men? That might also explain the "little man" comments or "baby man" comments. Really think about that...

Actually, it was a joke thread. GEL never posts links. Thank you, Shooby. Basically, it was all about hypocrisy and not at all about party. I'm constantly amazed that we reduce everything to politics. I just have more in my life and sometimes that "more" is just joking around. You get me! You really get me!

Sorry to take it to politics... IRL the discussions I've been within earshot or eyeshot of - have devolved to demeaning names for the opposite sexes genitalia. I haven't seen/heard it this bad before.
It doesn't change that there's way more demeaning words for women (and their parts) than there are for men (and their parts).

You have nothing to apologize for. Just because I was joking around doesn't mean everybody has to! It's just that...using that kind of stuff is basically dismissing or demeaning someone's opinion and chalking it up to hormones or insufficiencies. It's part of the reason, IMO, we are in the place we are in now. We dismiss one another instead of listening.
I suppose sometimes people to it to get a laugh but some people couldn't be funny if you dressed them up in a Bozo suit and played a laugh track behind them.

The end. Actually, Small Man Syndrome (as you call it) is quite real, although it generally refers to height. Short men often feel inadequate due to their stature, since society has historically put a value on height and physicality. To compensate for their perceived inadequacy, those who suffer with it tend to act overly aggressive to be seen as "manly." This could be either or both loud and verbally aggressive or physically aggressive. On the other hand, taller people are generally more even-tempered and less likely to become aggressive, or the proverbial "gentle giant." This is because they do not suffer from feelings of inadequacy so have nothing to make up for. They also recognize that they are already in a physically superior position so are more reluctant to engage. Guess which I am?

I don't doubt you in the least. PMS is real, too, but it's a stupid thing to throw into a debate.

...and accusing a woman of bleeding from her "whatever" isn't a stupid thing to throw into a debate? What goes around, comes around.
