I am hemorrhaging money on Kindle books. Probably could find some of them cheaper at the used bookstore, but the main use is reading them on the iPad in the dark bedroom while waiting for DS to fall asleep, for which paper books are less useful. Of course I picked series, plural, where they're $10 a pop or worse...(I tried kindle unlimited for a while, but I'm too choosy about what I want to read.) Oh well, I tend to reread ad nauseum so maybe I'll get my money's worth. I finally started reading Kindle books (I was clinging to paper books!). It is super convenient to have reading material literally in the palm of your hands, though. I'm still at the stage where I am downloading free books, or choosing books from my Amazon Prime account. I don't get my favorite authors, and can't be really choosy, and some of the writing quality makes me roll my eyes. But it's free, I love to read so I'll read almost anything sometimes, and I have discovered some talented authors this way. I don't even pay for my favorite authors' book, the library will have them sooner or later. I only buy a few Kindle books a year at best. With all the free stuff and the Owner's Library and Prime reading I'm overloaded anyway. And let's not even mention my own local library's ebooks.

I'm sure I overpaid for the glass door on the new shower. Im so tired of the house that I just want it done before I totally lose my mind.

Renew Afit membership for year. Another gym is $10 a mo. no contract but H. said big body builders there some days. And who else will I run into.

Barnes and Nobel has free Wi-Fi as well.

I was in Books A Million though.

Buying everything in sight on amazon, including a replacement cushion for the papasan and a toy portapotty for DS. I am going to tease him so hard about this when he's older...
Signed up for a library card so I can borrow some of the books I've been devouring instead of paying through the nose. Still, I'm at a point where time and convenience are more important than money, plus I'm okay with supporting authors of works I enjoy. (waits patiently to be flamed)

...a Tiger's T-shirt. Last I heard, they were doing terribly this year, but it was on clearance for only $5.50, so I'm counting on them getting better sometime in the not so distant future. Plus, it's really soft and looks cute on me.

Going to Costco shortly so I'll be buying some salmon, lamb, pork chops, bread and PopCorners (popcorn chips). Maybe some fruit. Probably spend about $100 or so.

I don't buy books for multiple reasons. Space, money, eyesight (paperbacks have given me grief for ages, even my bifocals don't make small print all that great), money... I've found some really good ones in the free stuff I've downloaded from Amazon and only a couple I wished were paper so I could make the worth something by starting fires with them.

I am hemoraging money but I don't feel like they are wastes. Just over the last few days: New swimsuit for DS (old one doesn't fit) Plain shirts for him (Walmart for $3 each) Hair, skin, and nails vitamins (there is a DEFINITE change if I lapse for too long) Kinky Curly leave-in conditioner ($15, but I tried a little last night and it is hands down the best thing I have used on my now very curly/unruly hair) Domino's pizza for $9 (so I could have a pizza and movie night with DS) Today I need to finish grocery shopping, so again, no real waste there. Just money out of my account. Funny! the grocery store I go to is reorganizing the store! moving stock around and including moving the freeze isles. so it has been a few weeks of looking for the hair grease I usually get. I finally found it in the hair section within a small space sectioned off under 'Ethnic'

The wire transfer fee to pay off our house. (DH said I should have just written out a check and mailed it) For my peace of mind, I followed their instructions and wired the funds.

When I wire transferred for closing the instructions were to make bank call first before wiring due to money being transferred to another places by hackers and it's gone with the wind!

I paid $138.05 for really good silver needle tea, but I had a $50 gift card to reduce that to $88.05. I got 314g and it's so worth it to me. This tea is called Bai Hao Yin Zhen and it's so wonderful!
I got 3 tea tins for free as well.

Tipping an Uber driver who thought because she was female that she didn't have to help me with my bags. She won't get a good rating from me. She was built like a football player and I'm not interested in her big boobies so wearing the low cut dress was not a thrill.

Bought Bombas socks. They're pricey but since I've started exercising and walking again, I figure they're worth it. I bought these, and they are awesome. I can't begin to tell you how many pair of socks I've tossed because my toes can't stand them. After my surgery, I have some mild, peripheral neuropathy and certain socks irritate the crap out of my toes. These do not. The only other ones that I have found that don't are Costco's merino wool socks.

I have been getting emails with discount offers so I think I'll order more.

I gave $7 to Carrot to take to the Como Zoo for snacks. My guess is it never even makes it there before he A. Loses it. Or, B. Uses it all to buy something like a single dog-eared old Pokemon card off of another Y kid.

Business class tickets to Australia. How cool is that!!! It's not quite as bad as it seems, 1 ticket is frequent flyer miles, 1 paid cash and will get reimbursed for, 1 paying OOP. But BUSINESS CLASS. Yes, my credit card is on fire and those 2 tickets cost as much as a car.
