This week I am going with BBBY, Bed Bath and Beyond.
With the wreckage in retailing this quarter, I have to go short this week.
I cannot believe their number could beat estimates, and forward guidance will probably be weak.
BBBY, short.
I did see they announced dropping the few Trump items they carried and an internet anti Trump group, "do not buy from these retailers" site removed their "do not shop there" recommendation, but I think there will be more pro-Trump fans that might put them on a banned list now.......
so I see that as a wash.

I should have stayed with the one I had last week, CYCC....it is up over 74% from Fri. close. It opened up a bit today so that isn't the daily %, but you get the idea.

OOOOOH, architecto, wham, right out of the gate! A fifteen gap to start! Interesting stock. Look at the monthly chart......or maybe the yearly one, I forget which one I saw small cap, with only 4.19% institutional ownership. Good pick this week. Chart is not showing any weakness. |

LOL, I am first for one day....... BBBY beat on revenue and profit.......and increased the dividend. I had to go and pick the one of the few retail companies that did great this quarter..... EDIT: Down 4.81% right now. Do I survive the initial jump, or do I die a slow death of a stock rise all day?  |

Congrats to Arch, Clark & Mod!!!  I've been busy with our yard sale and boy am I pooped. So I did good where it really counted...$$$$ in my pocket and the attic is nearly cleared out, closets have been cleaned out, some kitchen cabinets have been cleaned out and a lot of things out of the spare/guest bedroom that had become a catch-all for lots of 'stuff'! I'm going to have to scrounge to find some things to put out tomorrow so my tables won't look so bare! |
