Our company has a complex stepped % approach that gives you something all the way up to us contributing the IRS limit. I maxed out the limit last year and received $5400 in matching.

You just think you want my job! The money is good but it is hard work and has a high risk of lawsuits.
Your every move is regulated to death.
Everything is rush rush rush. I once had a doctor follow me into the ladies room trying to hurry me to get his case started. I had been working over 8 hrs nonstop with no break or lunch or potty break, so I just slammed the door to the stall in his face and went about my business.
When I got done. I went and worked another nonstop 8 hrs
This is a very physically demanding job and trust me you don't want it.

My profit sharing is $8,400 and match is $1,400. I'm striving to reach the max contribution, but right now, I also contribute: $11,900.

I get around 10k a year. My old university was more - 12.5k a year. It's a % of our salary, flat.
