No, I didn't short it but boy do I wish I had! I think another patient died in their trials....if what I read was right, but I only did a quick scan of one article. And I never expected it to do what it did today.

We do not see the equivalent of a four week victory streak in one week's time!

Myself, I am heading to the basement again.
There was a slew of bad earnings yesterday and I picked one of them!
But hey, who would of thought Amazon would report worse than expected earnings over Christmas holidays? Everyone said they slew the retail industry and their sales were softer than expected too.

Well, there are a couple of factors that are hurting Amazon at the moment. One is that they are carrying some of DT's products or his family's products...those are being boycotted by many. Another is their creeping order totals for free shipping which Walmart is going to counter with their own new shipping policies. Walmart also carries some DT products...which may or may not hurt them since they generally have a lower income base of customers. Nordstrom's just dropped Ivanka's line which may help them....seems Macy's is in talks for some kind of ownership change 
So I think there will be a lot of ups/downs in retail for at least the next yr. & maybe longer.  But what do I know?, I only spent 30+ yrs. in a very small part of it...groceries & drugs mainly.
I also hope the deal with Walgreen's buying Rite Aid doesn't happen...but that's just me!  We still need the competition out in the market place.
