VB, the "Trump rally" just ran out of steam.  Will January be kind or cruel to investors?  Some things make sense. others do not.  I'm getting too darn old to read the tea leaves anymore.  Agree, hard to figure out.  Let's make a good effort and have a nice 2017!

Too many things are up in the air...like what is the GOP going to do to the ACA & how will that affect the insurance companies, the hospitals (think small ones in rural areas, many may go under), the Dr.s let alone how it will affect the population.
What is happening with Russia, what's happening in the ME....there are too many unknowns....and lots of $$ involved.

ETA....Found it...

- OPKO Health Inc. ( OPK ) announced Friday morning that its Phase 3 study of hGH-CTP in adults with growth hormone deficiency demonstrated no statistical difference versus placebo on the study's primary endpoint.

OPKO Health has gapped open sharply lower this morning and is now down 1.69 at $9.77 on above average volume. The stock has dropped to a month and a half low and has fallen below its 50 and 200-day moving averages.

kadee, yes.  And just bought back in at the lows late ihis afternoon.    Hope it will recover some early in 2017.  I trade OPK on 2-3 pt swings.  Done well in 2016.  We'll see how it goes from here.

P.S.  I believe Santa Claus crashed on Mt. Denali on the way back to the North Pole.
