We are heading out on vacation on Mon. Headed to Va. first for my grandson's high school graduation. Taking him a "care" package for college....rolaids, bandaids, athlete's foot spray...he will be living in a dorm!

Hi Clark & everyone! Plans got changed. DH's back is giving him fits and he can hardly bend at all, so right after the graduation ceremony we headed back home. Got here this afternoon and DH sent his Dr. a text on Fri....we will wait for a call from him on Mon. and see where we go from there.

The vote in Great Britain looks like it is a "leave the European Union" and futures are down 500 points, gold up $60 an oz and oil down 5.3%

Congratulations to uncle, VB, and Ty for Win, Place & Show this sad ending week.  Market ending down over 600 points after the Brits opted out of the EU.  Markets may be quite unstable for some time to come.  Alan Greenspan in his appearance on CNBC indicated this may be only the tip of the iceberg, with a lot more yet to come.  Hope it's not going to be as bad as that.....we'll just have to wait and see.

Now, That was the week that was! 
We have to wait until Sunday night to see where Asia and Europe are heading to understand where we open Monday morning.
When you think about it, Friday was not as bad as you might think.
We were up over 200 points Thursday on the idea Britain would stay, so in one way, we only dropped 400 points on Friday!
