Once the client signs authorization for me to look it up, go to ♤ COUNTY ♡ ASSESSOR ◇ Property tax history Did you know it's also on Zillow? Cannot get interest, dividends, brokerage, IRA / Roth contributions, charity, sole proprietor info, W2s, ect well, I have the property tax detail from the mortgage company (it is escrowed). I need the HUD sheet from closing. I'm going to call the law office later today. fingers crossed.

Hope you get the HUD paperwork.
Zillow only tells you property taxes assessed. It doesn't tell you if they have been paid. Beacon will for some parts of the country. You can look up the property to see what was paid.

yes, I got the HUD sheet from the attorney of record. I also managed to find my cancelled checks online for excise tax. of course my office would be in a state of chaos right when it's tax time. it's all in there, but there's piles of boxes stacked up in front of the file cabinets.

Sounds like my office and I've been in this house a lot longer than you've been in yours.

Put my address in Zillow, clicked on the link, put me to my county's tax assessors website, which told me date paid. But I'll watch it in the future.

Sounds like my office and I've been in this house a lot longer than you've been in yours. ha, well it *was* organized until a few weeks back when I brought the contractors in. I wasn't sure how much space they were going to need, so I packed everything up and stacked it on the opposite side of the room. stupidly, I moved the file cabinet before I packed up the bookshelves. of course, I wasn't expecting the cleanup to take as long as it has. I think I finally have the patching cleaned up from their half-assed job. I'll sand it tonight and hopefully can prime, too. if I can put the office back together next weekend, I'll call it a win.

You will still be way ahead of me. Since we went through mom's stuff after she passed and I put it in the office, I haven't been able to go through it.
