Alleged employer email that hopefully DQ and others will find funny. www.msn.com/en-us/money/careersandeducation/boss-slammed-online-for-insane-email-after-employees-quit/ar-AAWriMf?ocid=msedgntp&cvid=00d97c44029f4bed8ac495b2816959d8An email received by an employee has shocked the internet after gaining viral attention online this week.
The email, which can be read in full here, said: "Hello all, Happy Wednesday. I'm not so happy this morning. Yesterday 3 of you submitted your two weeks notice, all 3 of you claimed it was because of a 'better opportunity not even thinking about the fact that some of your coworkers have lives outside of this job and CHILDREN."
After suggesting that it was doubtful the employees had found better opportunities because "we pay you all fair wages," the employer wrote: "I myself have children and instead of being at their band recital this week I will have to be sitting at work posting job offers on Indeed instead. This is outrageous. You all need to speak amongst yourselves and plan these things out so you don't leave a company high and dry all at once."

The newly required 3 months notice with a $6 per hour pay decrease!, oh and 30 hours of mandatory OT. I hope they all jumped ship.

I saw this on Reddit. Some of the comments are hilarious. If you want to see shining examples of what not to do as an employer, the antiwork subreddit can take you down a rabbit hole.

If I wasn't already job hunting and worked at that place, I would be job hunting. My notice would be after I showed up to get my personal things. That's asking for employees to give no notice whatsoever.

I get to visit my new school building on Wednesday and meet the staff. I'm nervous. They're nervous. Should I bring them gifts?

Out of curiosity, will you be an administrator or a teacher? I don’t think you need to bring any gifts either way.

That manager is a piece of work.

2 years ago I was going insane we were so busy. 1 year ago we were still super busy, but more support in place made it workable. We have come full circle now though. We are dead. We had a little flurry a couple weeks ago that made me think it would be steady, but we haven't had any new prospects all week.
I heard back on one resume I put in saying to finish my application so I'll look at that. And I'll be much more diligent at getting applications out. I'm not sure how long my branch can hold out before making cuts. But since my counterpart is the sales guys wife I think I need to be ready.

Chole- I am going to say no gifts. I side eye them from people I don't know anyway. If you bring donuts don't phrase it as a gift, but maybe as a sit down and have a donuts/coffee and a chat with me. I don't know how long you are going to be there, so if you can give more time to talk and meet the teachers during planning, but I would appreciate the time more.

I'll be at the standing weekly team time. It's in the afternoon. I 'll have about 15 minutes with the whole group to chat and have them ask questions. Both my boss and my predecessor will be there. Since it's the afternoon, I could bring cupcakes.

She’s a bit nervous as she’s going to a school that she doesn’t know anybody. She got into her top choice magnet school program, but no one in her current program is going to the same school.

Well, it really only works out to an extra 6K/year before taxes, so I'm not going out to lease a Tesla or anything. Honestly, I'll probably just up my 401K percent to max it out sooner and not work as much OT.

eta: Well, she refused. She's big into this keto diet now and brings all her own food. I'm going to get her one of those mega packs of pre-cooked bacon from Sam's Club instead.
