Another economic indicator that will now by hyped and spinned by the Obama Administration to say we are on the road to recovery and all is well.... Or Obama may have missed this report today because he is busy filling out his NCAA Basketball Brackets...

The high cost of food is also a motivating factor for the unrest in the Middle East.
This is true. All the credible news outlets such as the Nightly Business Report and the Lehrer Newshour have made the same reports. The fact that the dollar, the worlds reserve currency is being debased is another contributing factor.

High costs of food in poor countries (and, really, all countries) is a nice little unintented consequence of the push for Ethanol fuel...thanks greenies!! Although, I'm not sure if this fits as an unintended consequence since many people aregued that is exactly what would happen if they started using the food supply for fuel.

Energy and Food cost are the highest in 36 years which is hitting some sectors of our economy in a big way..and meanwhile Obama says "not to worry he is working this issue"...
