I would be interested to know if there were polls prior to the elections that showed a majority of voters that were for removing collective bargaining, or any other rights from Unions.

They would probably be a lot more unhappy in the future if budget shortfalls were allowed to keep increasing.

People have short memories. If the govenors of those states are successful in balancing the budgets and keep taxes down then they will in time be hailed as heros.

They won't be hailed if they are impeached and replaced, and the changes they made are overturned. That is what the voters are pushing for.

Chi that chance is slim to none. To be impeached you must have commited a felony type act. They can be recalled but that is not likely and takes a long process.

Actually you have just as many people trying to recall the Dem senators who fled the state. Unfortunately you never hear about that in these main stream news stations and polls

Chi that chance is slim to none. To be impeached you must have commited a felony type act. They can be recalled but that is not likely and takes a long process. Two years after winning in a landslide, Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Alvarez, the chief of some 2.5 million people in south Florida, lost his seat Tuesday in a recall vote after raising taxes and boosting the pay of public-sector union employees. Mr. Alvarez, a Republican, acknowledged the results Tuesday and said Miami is ready for "reconciliation." But he also claimed he was the victim of a vendetta by a wealthy businessman who spent $1 million of his own money to lobby for the recall, which became the largest municipal one in US history. To be sure, south Florida politics have a character all their own, but the recall does offer the first hint of the voting public's mood on unions and taxes as Wisconsin voters organize "the mother of all recalls." There, Democrats are targeting Republicans for their vote against collective bargaining, and Republicans are targeting Democrats who left the state to stop the vote. www.csmonitor.com/USA/Politics/2011/0316/As-recall-wave-builds-Miami-Dade-Mayor-Carlos-Alvarez-first-to-go

I mistyped impeached, I meant recalled. Recall of Walker can happen in 2012, signatures are already being collected. The more important issue is that if there is enough demand for recall during the process the threat is enough to change lawmakers policies. It will also change voters minds . publicpolicypolling.blogspot.com/2011/03/brutal-numbers-for-kasich-sb-5.html
