I meant to swim last night. Instead I fell asleep nursing the baby and didn't wake up until DH came to check on us - 1.5 hours later. Oops!

Two miles on the treadmill and two on the bike. I'm done for the day.

1375 yards in the pool. Two sep people talked to me to find out "how I do it" - keep going and swim 10-20 laps at a time. Made me feel pretty good!

And I would be one of those. Once upon a time I could danc, but now I'm so rusty moving my body to the music seems really weird!

I think I'm a cross between Elaine from Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais in The Office. I stay far, far away from any dance floor.

Scale not budging, just have to keep at it. I had hoped now that I'm down to nursing 1x a day and keeping up the diet and exercise things would really get moving, but apparently this whole thing is going to be a slog. Weight circuit tonight. I made DH do it last night and he can barely move today, LOL. It's pretty diabolical - every muscle group, no rest, weights as cardio. I MAY be a little bit evil.

Sitting here thinking "what if instead I working out I had five beers?"
This is why I'm fat, honestly.

You mean to tell me I shouldn't have had 3 glasses of wine as my dinner tonight? And by 3 glasses, I mean 3 full red wine glasses circa 2016, not 3 1950s style 4oz glasses 😉
Damn, maybe this is why weight isn't moving the way I want it to!

Longest weekend. I'm trying to tough out one more hour before kids go to bed and then talk myself into weights. I know I will feel better if I can't get myself to start, but ugh I DO NOT WANNA.

Ugh, need to vent about DH. He hasn't been trying to lose weight at all, which, fine, but he said he would do this with me. He keeps pushing the idea of a competition between the two of us. I keep telling him, no, I'm still nursing I don't want to compete.
He worked out with me tonight, and I convinced him to count his calories for the day. At which point he went of for 10 minutes about the rules for our competition and what the prizes should be and on and on.
Husband. I DO NOT WANT TO HAVE A WEIGHT LOSS COMPETITON WITH YOU. AT THIS POINT I LITERALLY DONT KNOW HOW ELSE TO SAY IT.
When I reiterated this, AGAIN, he got all sad and wa alike "oh that would be so motivating for me."

I have had a traumatic week. I had tickets to see Adele on monday. I love adele... not "i just fell in love with her a couple of years ago like all the other americans" but "i have loved her since her first single dropped in the UK 8 years ago when she was a 19 year old baby with crazy red hair" If course monday, i am up at 330 with a migraine aura popping pills. Another aura hits at 6am. I end up with a miserable but dull migraine and since i have a new job, i cant call off. I ended up having to sell my tickets (face value cause i am not a jerk) and cried several times. I am still so upset and trying not to fix it with chocolate.
I got about 5k steps on monday, which means i hardly moved that day. I am trying to add an extra K or 2 each day this week to make up for it. I still just want to curl up in a ball and cry... but i just threw the $$$ in our eurofund and am trying to make the best of it.

And, of course, like an annoying boy he already lost a pound in three days. Meanwhile I'm up 2 pounds today FOR NO REASON. There's just no way I ate 7,000 extra calories or whatever over the last two days and didn't notice.

Boys suck like that!!
So sorry about the Adele concert sarcastic. That would really suck. I dragged myself to Garth Brooks when I could hardly stand up because I had been waiting years. Migraines are the worst.
Trying to get back into things. Took a couple days off for my birthday and had a wedding out of town last week. My body is missing something because I still feel like I got run over by a truck and the wedding and hours of dancing was Saturday.

I slacked on working out and slept in this morning. So, I decided that I'd use most of my lunch hour to take a walk outside. Holy moly it's hot out there! I mean, I know it's July and I know it's super hot here in July, but man, I wasn't expecting it to be quite so hot. Now I'm trying to convince myself that my room temp water is going to quench my thirst and that I don't need to buy a pepsi from the vending machine.

I've had three cups of ice so far today.

Update
At beginning of July I caught a virus that has really slowed me down. This week my plan is to try to get back on track. I am going to set my step goal for the week at 50000.
Have a great week everyone.
